I think the goal would be to be a much better driver than that. I know, not much of a goal, but hey ...

I don't see how that video demonstrates the effectiveness of an upgraded rear diff in any way...

Quick question, is it possible to remove and re-install the rear diff, without needing a re-alignment?

Actually the driver wins the SCCA regionals (and recently the nationals) pretty consistently. I believe this video was from when he first put the diff in...I know Josh personally. I think this particular vid should be an example of how extreme it "can" be without seat time to get used to it.

From what I remember he was out there trying to push it around to see what it's limits were.

doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

he was understeering like a pig more then anything else, I thought.

Called them up today and confirmed that it's a 3000gt diff, any idea if putting in a 1.5 will still allow power oversteer?

Yes, 1.5 way diff locks under acceleration and decel, but only half as much on decel, this helps get the rear to rotate when you are off the gas, the stock diff is just a 1 way that only locks under accel

my car responds as well as the car in that video..and i have a stock rear dif. lots of pushing and tire chatter.
am i missing something?
