damn crazy money. i bought my evi from honda dealer. not to good with dsm motors so i did fluid flush and damn dealer never did as i told them and change oils and fluids. im afraid to think about what people there did. i heard original owner beat the hell out of my evo before trading in. and while sitting there workers beat it up to. i come to find this out after my friend worked there.

after 200 miles im convinced this motor is stronger/faster than my old VIII setup with identical mods. it still needs a tune but it pulls hard and i've noticed an increase in torque.

i'll post pictures and some dyno results.

p.s. I LOVE MIVEC.

Cool you got it running. I had to buy a IX motor for my car when I got it. I had it shipped to me from Chicago with all the sensors, new IX clutch, wire harness, etc.. for $2100.

Good thing you got the dealership to fix the immobilizer issue. Messing with all of the periphery bits and digging into the XML files is not for everyone! Especially when you start messing with VIII to IX changes and what not, it becomes a mess!
