I'm not sure, because you are correct the 7163 is only available in T4 IWG from Borg Warner. We'll see if Pete tells me anything of substance, if not I may just get a Full-Race manifold or have a friend build one.

Keep me posted. I have been eyeing the 7163 for awhile, but I would want twin scroll, and so far I have not been happy with the fitment of the kits I have seen for a IWG 7163 on the 4-9. Maybe Hypertune will figure it out.

I will for sure. Geoff told me that the IWG 7163 is one of the hardest turbos to fit onto the CT9A lol....if anyone can do it Hypertune can I'm sure. Based on the hot side options for the B1 EFRs I would be surprised to see them offer an EWG T4 manifold too, but anything is possible I suppose.

Apologies, wasn't aware the T4 7163 only came in IWG config. If this is the case you'll need to go 7670 T4 EWG, as mentioned on previous page there is no collector available for T4 IWG - the demand isn't there, would need to sell 20+ manifolds to cover the tooling costs alone

They have already figured out placement for the 7670; see here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...hread-229.html
Runner design will be slightly different but in terms of fitment - this is it

Is it possible to make a hybrid turbo using the 7163 compressor section and 7064 turbine housing and wheel? That way you could have the 7163 compressor wheel, with the 1.05 AR T4 twin scroll turbine option for the 7064. Essentially making a 7164.

Isn't this essentially how they made the EFR 9174?

Can you contact BW for us? They will probably take you more serious. No t4 twin scroll EWG option for the 7163 is a travesty.

Haha they won't take me anymore seriously than you mate. Just to clarify - I don't work for Hypertune. I have a bit of work for my own car being completed by Hyper and I've run a few group buys/pre-sales for the local guys (Australia) but aside from that - I'm a nobody haha. That said I speak with Pete @ Hyper almost daily, he is a busy guy so not always responsive to emails so if you have any queries re: Hyper products feel free to shoot me a PM

Well, you were right. Despite me telling Pete that I had the IWG T4 7163 these manifolds will only be EWG. To say I'm bummed is a bit of an understatement.

I will likely be placing an order for a Full-Race tomorrow.

7163 T4 IWG manifold being finished, 1.74 inch ID, all runners within 5mm in length, and as far as I can see it will fit IWG B2 frame turbos too..

Yep I'll be ordering that manifold today, then having a 321 downpipe and some charge pipes fabbed to match.

I'm really excited to see what this turbo can do!! Twinscroll 7163 or bust.

You should see if Full-race will give you a deal on the manifold and downpipe. Getting one custom fab'd could be a headache. Should get them swain tech coated too http://swaintech.com/race-coatings/r...aust-coatings/

I have already talked to Geoff about the turbo/manifold, my best friend is a fabricator so I'm not worried about the complications!

And don't worry, the manifold, hotside and dp are all going to Zircotec

Thanks for the advice! I promise not to disappear before I get results LOL
