Given that its been over a year without a single 4g63 7163 dyno chart, I suspect that given the cost and fitment difficulties, the juice is not worth the squeeze. No matter how good the transient response might be.

my kit should be here this week.....

But my engine is still in work, engine block is getting machined right now, then i need to balance the Crank/dampener/clutch as a single unit. Then it is off to get WPC treatment.

with that being said these things take time, but all of you being Evo experts i guess you all should know that.

In development, coming soon, friend in china... Fact is FullRace and CBRD have had Evo 8/9 manifolds for the 7163 for many months now and not a single dyno chart can be found anywhere. The closest we got was CBRD saying they got ~400whp, on a IX but then never posted the dyno chart. I suspect its because when you overlay a 7163 against say a BBKfull, it makes justifying the $5K+ price tag for the 7163 kit hard to stomach.

Yes, the BBK is discontinued, but the Blouch equivalent lives on. Believe me, I really want to be made a believer. I have been riding the EFR hype train for 2 years now. Still waiting for results.

Truth be told, one of the reasons I am working on mine and not buying fill race product is because I want to see why EFR seems to work on some platforms and not on the others..

Also, US market has an affinity for larger setups, and that is why you tend to see lots of dynos for 8374 and larger... small frame stuff is used only on miatas apparently..

I like the large diameter runners.

And Subarus. They even get excited by the 6758.

yeah, I dont like some small runner solutions on the market..
But packaging is a pig.. I tried to keep the runners as short as possible AND equal length.. makes for a really weird collector..

Ahh Subaru.. we have a STI with a 7163 over here.. running a 2.65 litre stroker.. small turbo, BIG torque..

AS for results.. there are some really nice dynos from Audis running 7163.. on this thread..

The US has e85 and wide open roads in most places in comparison to EU. Might as well have big power to be a roll-racing youtube hero. I have a efr8374 2.2L 4g63 build starting up soon too, but the focus of my build will be response. Which probably means....eventually switching to 7163. Once you and others show me your results.
