If there is an increase in lag I bet its small. Increase in top end.probably small too. Midrange is my guess on peak gain

Plan is to start on it Friday after work for an hour and finish Saturday. I may install my new intake manifold too as I just dont have a ton of time to install the housing and test it and then throw the intake manifold and test it, but we'll see how far I get. Turbine is def going on first, then to Aaron @ ER. Had issues with the wga last time at the dyno, but made 350 @ 20psi on my current setup and before that 385 @ 28psi on a bone stock exhaust manifold and QTP O2 dump. So we'll see.

Ramses, are you experiencing any taper on your IX turbo in its present configuration with the 10.5 hsg.? If you are, I'll bet it's a small amount. Is the 10.5 on your IX turbo ported, or unported?

Yeah I get some taper even with the 25 psi wga. Its a ported Buschur housing.

When you say 385@ 28 psi its not like the turbo was boosting 28 @ your peak hp. This is especially deceiving withstock turbo which can boost more in the midrange. Do I sound correct? My peak hp numbers did not increase as boost went up from 22 to 26 but tq did increase and area under the curve.. So what would be the psi at peak hp if your boost was hitting 28 mid ?

I'd have to have Aaron pull up the dyno sheet. Couldn't tell you off the top of my head what it was out the top.

I just bought one... Broke a stud in my housing and too lazy to get it out, figured i'd try this out. Anyone try out the ebay upgraded wastegate actuators?

Well that is not a true comparison if you will be changing your intake manifold at the same time.

I'm assumng this was directed towards me. I could care less if it's not a true comparison, but depending on time the intake manifold may not go on. I don't have the time or money to test them like I want so we'll see. More than likely I won't have time to install the intake, but if all goes well I may. I don't really want to, but I need to otherwise it will go on 2 weeks from now.
