They started a month ago before the install. I need to do a boost leak test. I couldn't make over 20 psi on the dyno. Still made 350 at 20 psi though. I checked the puck on my housing and when it's full open it didnt hit anything on my O2 housing.

Another thing I noticed, it has A3N cast on the housing. A little research turned this up....

Nice find. Looks like its a cast stainless steel with higher Cr and higher Ni content than 304 SS. Interesting.

Checked clearance on my map o2 eliminator, and the puck does indeed clear. The turbine outlet is larger by 2mm on this casting compared to the stock 10.5, I have to grind my o2 housing gasket in order to not obstruct flow. The wastegate ports are much larger as well (more area pressing against the wastegate), as previously mentioned.

Maybe a good candidate for extrude honing? The A3N seems highly tolerant to heat/cracking.

Less likely to crack but it seems a bit dicey for what final product might come out of it. Some parts of the scroll might get heavily worn (e.g., scroll exits) while other areas may not.

We as a group should contribute to a grand test ie b2b on dyno.. I have reservations about it being legitimate a3n...

Someone should weigh the two as a comparison. I would, but lack a scale.

Weighed both housing at work on a UPS shipping scale...

OEM 10.5cm - 10.8 lbs
ebay 11.5 - 9.6 lbs

I won't be able to do a before and after dyno, I have added this housing, a FP FAC compressor cover, FID tubular manifold, 4" intake and converted to speed density since my last dyno. Sorry.

I'll be sure to post it up, although it won't be until its colder out. Its 100+ degrees here right now with 50% humidity, horrible.
