[QUOTE=Little Rascal;11017356]Hi all,

I am far from having a race car, I am driving a Mitsubishi Delica... But I like to share my story as this could help others as well.
I only read positive reviews before getting a Kinugawa KAMAC turbo, then once I got into troubles with it, I started to find some negatives reviews... But too late...

This totally suck dick, dude. But ive tried the same thing with 2 different major turbo manufactors. I think thats just how it is... If you deny that your product have failures, then your product naver had failed. Good for marketing and sales

Bad hey...
Now, just curious, is there an Evo Turbo that would fit? Anyone knows? I think they might have the same fittings and oil and water cooled?
I'll be more then happy to get something proper and once and for all, not only for a day or a month...
Cheers.

FYI.. Testing with a 1.7 bar Kinugawa spring in the Kinugawa actuator this turbo just hit 40 pounds of boost.

The power is intense. I built the turbo as a 25g 11.5 hotside TD06 turbine.

I'm normally going to run 93 pump gas and lower boost now. When I can get to a dyno I will report back.

Isn't 40 pounds of boost 28 bar? Seems a lot especially with a 1.7 bar spring? Or I got it wrong?

kinugawa is s**t - fact!
I suffered for 2 months. they sent me a new actuator, then a new hot part, because the old broke through 100miles.

new actuator I had to modify because from the factory it is not pressed diaphragm lol

but still has not turned out to boost more than 1.8 bar on 2.0 bar spring

and i'm sold it for half price!

taking into account the money spent and the time I could buy fp green hta73 and would be happy

I've now had mine in the car for about 10k miles works lij e a champ.
11.5 hotside buillet anti surge
I agree with the wg not holding
Only weak spot for me.
But that's already been established on this turbo.
From what I understand all turbos have failures. But its too bad yours was one of tgem.

I don't know. I really thought I would have trouble with all these bad posts. The turbo is solid. The actuator I got might be different but I doubt it. It's a Kinugawa black and Kinugawa red spring. I use a Grimspeed EBC and Tephra V7. I can control boost so well. The open dump might be helping as well and I have a well flowing build, but I can't say why people are having problems and I am not. 90% of people have boost leaks even if they swear they don't so I was just guessing all their **** isn't proper mechanically.

Do you guys adjust the wastegate to the max ? Im gonna get this turbo in a few days and i was thinking of getting a Turbosmart WG to fix the Kinugawa wg issues. I also have an o2 dump.

I think I reached 40 psi somewhere around 80-90% wdc. I have it turned down now.
