*Update*
I sent the turbo off to Kamak Dynamics in Diamond Bar CA.
They said as soon as they receive it they will ship me a brand new one. Woohoo!
For future ref. if you have issues, don't bother dealing with the guys in Taiwan, call the US number on their website.

Is the kit they sell on ebay, the compressor wheel and housing? or exhaust turbine and compressor housing?

The 25G refers to the compressor section of the turbo, the full turbo has a TD06SL2 turbine wheel. The ebay conversion kit is only the front 25G housing and wheel.

there's no way of telling.. i will tell you that it looks nothing like mine. You'll have to measure the inducer/exducer to get the size if you are really worried.

I'm glad that you got a response about the blown turbo. See, they aren't that bad are they!

Well, I don't know if it's blown yet. My tuner build this for me ready to go, but we had to bend my firewallt o make it fit. My mechanic pulled the actuator and bracket. So I'm guessing that realignment could have messed things up. So I'm paying my tuner out here to build my motor, install cams n valve springs and fix my issue. I'll be somewhere in 500-550whp if this turbo is good for it. I won't have any other restrictions anymore with a built motor.

Mine is finally going in the ol' HHR on the 9th. I hope i can get my 5th injector setup instslled then as well so i can tune on e85 and 93.

On a side note I still havent figured out the lnf ecu payam. I am however tuning a 3076 swap lsj right now. May have james tune it for me but it may be easier without all the factor boost control crap since im using a tial 38 and a hallman pro. I mean is it really necessary to control boost with like 6 different tables? Lol.

Damn dude, you're gonna get it done before me. The LNF Ecu is tricky with the tables. I heard the more you go digging, the more there is lol. LSJ is a totally different breed, I don't even know how to tune haha. Crazy you're doing it!

So if I don't have a boost leak and I'm spooling super slow or not hitting target boost what can it be? I believe I have a 1 bar actuator spring. If I want to boost more than 14.7 psi I would need a stronger spring? I'm guessing its pushing the gasses open as stated above. I'm wondering, if I get the 2 bar spring will I be able to adjust it to be lower than 29psi? Like 24 psi for a DD etc. You know? I just hope the bearing in the turbo isn't shot that's causing this problem... I want to have everything ready cause my tuner is coming down here to build me and fix my issue. I need all parts here in the time frame that he will be here. Thanks again for the help guys.

Wow. That's unfortunate. I'm still running strong at 30 psi. Send it back in to them for a replacement.

We have an extremely low failure rate even when you count the people who've broken their turbos through their own negligence. Having the most units in production will skew the perception though but I assure you our failure rates are well into the single digits on all models.

The fact that we have "fan boys" should be a testament to our customer service. People rarely recognize great customer service publicly in this industry but universally almost everyone will share their negative experience.
