Need some help figuring something out.. I'm in the process of tuning and I'm looking at my MAF lbs/min. For some reason the keep jumping up and down and very skewed. I want to know what you guys think of this. Here is a little pic from my log and you can see the pull from when I floored it etc... any Ideas?

The ecu map is 100% not to blame. new spoolinup cop kit. new spark plugs pregapped to 0.26 tried the working ngk's had on the car before. Fuel pressure good.. No boost leaks or any leaks at the new injectors. Injectors scaled properly. I tried taking closed loop out of the equation and didn't help. TPS seems to be working properly however I am going to check the voltage tomorrow just in case. Not throwing any codes other than the p0090 and another egr code since i just got rid of that stuff. The tune is actually really close should have NO problem with that. Hmm no leaks of any kind. Timing is dead on for sure. Let's see we also checked battery voltage 100% good all the time hence the alternator is good. It is brand new. It's late but we have checked many a things. the hesitation is so bad afr's all of a sudden fluctuate to where they drop off the charts and no reading from the wideband.then if i can get it to accelerate by adding gas pedal and then get it up in the rpms it seems to run great. any ideas? i could go on with what we have tried but i appreciate any ideas.. thanks! I want to prove this turbo can hit a 10 second quarter mile!

Thank you so much. Yes it is MAF with MAF relocate. It is post turbo right before the TB. And yes I have an HKS BOV.

honestly i don't know what would cause that. what kind of wastegate and spring you have?

[edit] this reminds me of what my car was doing a while back. i think it was because of my wastegate.

I have the billet kinugawa actuator with a 1bar spring. I'm guessing it might be WG flutter and that 1bar spring is not strong enough. I don't get it though, with my EFR I boosted 29psi fine with 1bar. I'm guessing this turbine housing it just completely different and causing it to flutter..

This is the picture of my 25g kit.

Payam...it could be a couple things but looking at your log your boost is inconsistent indicated by the boost low res PID. The line is just a jagged fluctuation thru the pull. Which leads me to believe your assumption is correct

Yea, but it's weird its only at those RPMS and only at WOT. When it hits redline it smothens out and actually hits 23 psi. Today I did half throttle and it hit 14 psi and no surge. If I did WOT and it hit 14 psi the same RPM it would surge or flutter I guess. Idk. I'm going to order a 1.5 bar spring I guess should be good enough.. Maybe even a diaphram just to be sure. This wastegate thing is a pain in the ***. I hope this is the issue.

2 bar got you what psi? I could only get 26 with full preload. I'm using an external gate now and finally finishing my tune next weekend.

Shooting for 34 psi on e85

**** the two bar isn't overkill?? Would I still be able to boost 20 psi for pump gas if that's so strong?

I'm getting a MBC to see maybe my solenoid is the problem.

Most resent results with the 25g, Evo 8 High comp 2.0, 2150 injectors, E85, Tuned on speed density by DMT tuning, 548Hp 436Tq at 34 psi.
