Im shooting for 450whp on 93 and 500+ on e85. I want quick spool but too quick kills our transmissions. I think ideally if the larger 10cm housing will reach 20+psi by 4200 i would prefer that since it would give more up top

Advice/opinions????

James is running a t67 25g and he hits full boost by 4.4k rpm or sooner. Take a look at his vids on his fb page. I tried posting it here but he is private so nobody else would be able to see.

Most evo guys would go for .73 or bigger. They have more options for fueling and building the motor so they'd go bigger esp since they can rev higher too. We'd stick to .55 for 400-450whp or .73 for 450-550whp on racegas etc.

Well i wanna hit 500-525 on e85 with the 5th injector. I only need 2 fittings and the bends to weld the downpipe together and its ready to go on. I have all the gaskets, new spark plugs, even a fresh oil change lol. I need to figure out 100% which housing to use and get it ordered. I cant wait to get this on!!!'

Just scrapped my plans for a ported stock 9 turbo to get one of these bad boys.

I purchased the 25g w/billet wheel, anti-surge cover, 10.5 hotside ported and polished and 2.0 bar billet actuator. This will be going on an evo 9 with
-TBE
-o2 dump
-ported stock manifold
-3.5 FMIC
-UICP
-LICP
-Speed Density
-FIC 1250
-DW300 Fuel pump

I have yet to decide on boost control. I have both a grimmspeed mbc and a perrin 3 port. I will consult with my tuner on what he thinks is best.

Will be tuned on both 93 and E85. Looking into having viiidriver tuning her for me. : )

I've got a few questions.
1. Are most of you using the oil supply from teh stock location on the head? results?
2. Are there any other issues than the ones posted in regards to the IWG?

Yes, and imo the grimmspeed does just fine without any help or the extra complexity of an mbc hooked up also.

Reporting back on my Kinugawa self install. It's been on the car for 2 months now. It was tuned and made a disappointing 318WHP with boost coming on late and slow around 4800RPM. I needed to take the hot side off the turbo today and in doing so, I noticed a nasty looking exhaust leak in the V-Band that holds the exhaust housing to the turbine carriage..
It's bad enough that it scorched the outside of the band and left soot marks inside. I could also smell a strong exhaust smell under boost despite having no other leaks I could find.
I contacted Kinugawa by email today, any ideas what could be the problem?

That would explain your dissapointing 318hp. That sucks. Bit i hear their customer service is pretty good. Hope you get it taken care of with ease

Ouch, that looks bad. I hope you figure it out and see what the problem was with that. Is there a gasket between the vbands?

Looks as if it was reassembled properly or that it may be missing a gasket. Ill be sure to double check mine.

I bet your problem is the exhaust leak and wastegate actuator(replace it with a fp)- for some reason kinugawa billet is flawed somewhere.
