Your exhaust gases are probably pushing the flapper open meaning your wg spring is too weak.
He said something based on load not exacly PSI. So IDK. I'm not a tuner I wish I knew.

Hey guys. I just want to share my experience with the 25g.
I have been running the billet 25g since early march. About a month ago I checked for shaft play and there was a little, I also noticed a small spot in the comp housing where the wheel rubbed.
Pulled it and popped the housings to find that the turbine wheel rubbed a little and the compressor wheel rubbed every blade end to end.
Called, emailed, sent pics, they told me to send it back. They had it for a couple weeks and sent it back, untouched. I got an email with a tracking # but no explanation.
I am bootyhurt after spending almost 1200 (extra billet WGA and express shipping upgrade and still took 4 weeks to show up) with them and they didn't even lmk they were sending back my broken turbo after paying another $104 for return shipping.
The turbo never saw more than 31/32 psi and always timed. One of the reasons I bought from them was the good customer service rep they had.
I'll keep you updated if they even reply to my emails.

And this is exactly why I didn't want to buy one

Yeah, I was gonna say the same thing but I decided to save myself the horror of dealing with the FP fan boys. From what I gather, FP s customer support isn't something to write home about either

But it makes me wonder if its a one off problem or if these turbos have a questionable life expectancy. They definitely don't have the customer base that FP does, so its a little difficult to say

Maybe I should post a log or a video one of you guys can figure some **** out... Idk. So if I have a 1 bar actuator spring I can't boost more than 14.7 psi to be exact... I don't get it. My EFR preset was 1 bar and I was holding 22-29 psi no problem.

The waste gate is ****. That is all. I could only get 26 psi on the 2 bar. I use an external gate.

*Update*
I called a US number and the lady said "they must have made a mistake."
I am restarting the whole process over with them. (Kamak) We'll see how it goes.
Still no reply email from "Bruce" @ Kinugawa.
