again. the only thing i know about an auto is you put it in the letter you want to go. hahaha.
Understandable question. Here is the deal, I got one of these transmissions from Dan in Michigan, that was the one I bought thinking it was an EVO7. I then found another one overseas and bought it. One of the cores was JUNK inside, the case was damaged and we shouldn't have used it. It had a better gear ratio in it so Vince decided to try it as he thought it would work even with the damage. It was rebuilt and put in the car, that one didn't work at all to speak of. We were in a pinch for time and it was decided to take the other one I had here, increase the line pressure and put it in the car and hope for the best, that one was straight out of a junk yard overseas. We hoped it was in the junk yard from being in a wreck but reality at this point is, it was probably burnt up as even the 1st gear clutch wouldn't hold power at all.

Any transmission we sell will first of all be sold with a good case with no internal damage (unlike the first one we tried) and it will be completely gone through with all the things we find needed to be done, done and ready to run.

I am picking up the transmission tomorrow morning from Kevin. Then it's getting some clutches and the machine work that is still needed to go in the car. This should have the car up and running this coming week! Wish me luck!

I'm getting the trans tomorrow, all arranged. Going to take it apart, do some work and get it in the car. May even have it done on Sunday!

Old trans it out, hot in the shop, did it on the floor with jack stands and the trans/engine holder we built. Took just over an hour working slowly and stopping to send some text messages etc. So not bad to take out at all. Very easy with this installation tool we built to raise and lower the trans to the floor.

Kevin showed up just as I was finishing. Him and I have never spoken a lot in person, super nice, honest, down to earth guy. Good to know him, great to talk with him and hope we continue on working together in the future.

He built a test rig so we can run the transmissions out of the cars and make sure the shift before they are installed, pretty cool.

Tomorrow I plan to start early with my friend Dave, pull this trans apart, clean the case, check it over, install some new parts and get it back in the car. It should work.......
