Bad Bish, the next generation-introducing the clutchless 4 speed.
fantastic! your description of what it was like driving your car with this earlier in the thread makes me wanna see it work all the more
awesome to here. i am no Auto trans guy so dont take this the wrong way. but in the future ''if'' this project makes it to the public how will you be able to determine that the trans's you buy for the project's are good? and if there bad how do you rebuild them to make them good or hold up to the guys who are feeding them a good amount of power?
again. the only thing i know about an auto is you put it in the letter you want to go. hahaha.

Any transmission we sell will first of all be sold with a good case with no internal damage (unlike the first one we tried) and it will be completely gone through with all the things we find needed to be done, done and ready to run.
I am picking up the transmission tomorrow morning from Kevin. Then it's getting some clutches and the machine work that is still needed to go in the car. This should have the car up and running this coming week! Wish me luck!
Old trans it out, hot in the shop, did it on the floor with jack stands and the trans/engine holder we built. Took just over an hour working slowly and stopping to send some text messages etc. So not bad to take out at all. Very easy with this installation tool we built to raise and lower the trans to the floor.
Kevin showed up just as I was finishing. Him and I have never spoken a lot in person, super nice, honest, down to earth guy. Good to know him, great to talk with him and hope we continue on working together in the future.
He built a test rig so we can run the transmissions out of the cars and make sure the shift before they are installed, pretty cool.
Tomorrow I plan to start early with my friend Dave, pull this trans apart, clean the case, check it over, install some new parts and get it back in the car. It should work.......
