Anything during the rebuild process that could explain the lack of function of the tranny?
We got the new trans in today. It has a good first, second and in decault third. At this point we are sure it's not a hardware problem, has to be a programming issue. Going to try something else tomorrow.....
Our next attempt at fixing it took all day Saturday, worse than before. I think.we.are.narrowing it.down though. I biught some special tools and some kisc stuff I didn't have to make it all easier. I am also going to buy quick disconnects for the radiator and trans cooler along with moving the water pump, it'll make working on it much easier. I really hope we have narrowed it down enough that our next attept will have it working!
While I was messing with the car I tried getting on the converter, no power brakes and the car jumps right to 3,000 rpm, which is HUGE! It seems as though getting the car to launch will be easy, now to get it to shift!

Actually, at this point I don't think we are narrowing it down, I think we are just burning up hours and getting frustrated. The way it looks right now the car will not be running at the Shootout and THAT pisses me off.
Andrews is still running but he isn't using the same trans I am. Aaron's broke awhile ago and as far as I know he never fixed it or took it apart to see what broke.
We had a slight break through today.......we found the trans controller melted!! We think it's been the controller allalong now. Waiting on a new one from Andrew.
Tomorrow Dave and I are starting the assembly of the maroon DSM auto project, hope we have it running foor Friday night!
