Bad Bish, the next generation-introducing the clutchless 4 speed.
Trans is electronic past drive...cake once we got the trans control sorted initially. The V2 Magic box is currently being bench tested and has a gear indicator integrated into it. Manual mode is obviously already sorted, Drive, Paddle shifter will be added in as well.
Werd. Watched an A/O GTR get its poop pushed in by 2 different UGR cars. Hard battle on that front. 5.2L to 3.8L even if its about the same power makes a difference and then there is the aero....

As an Evo 7 GTA owner here in the UK, I am waiting for a TCU to help me get beyond the factory limitations so this is keeping me up at nights. Let me know once you have a product
No sir, I agreed with Aaron at English I would not try to touch that type of market. From day one I only wanted a manually shifted trans, which is what they ended up going to, at least for now. A ratchet shifter for up and down shifting though we will offer.
I see NO problem with an EVO crushing the GTR or Lambo's in the 1/4 mile after this trans stuff is sorted. Think about the gains the DSM's have made from a 5 speed to the auto, typically .5 seconds. That would put a car like the Bish in the 8.50-8.60 range, with the new DR's from M&H, who knows what it would 60' but I'm guessing it will still run some 1.40's. This is going to be a true game changer for the EVO's.
Best thing for you to do is switch the car over to what we (English or BR) are doing and forget the TCU and factory electronics.
I love this! maybe when i get tired of dealing with clutch and tranny issue i'll make the jump over. i've been following this since the thread started. i'm assuming with all the new components and what not this will be a bit more the orginal estimate of 5k? regardless, still AWESOME!!

We built a new FMIC and upper i/c pipe kit for the cars to work better with this "auto" trans. It will be optional, any FMIC will work but the upper i/c pipe has to be rebuilt on nearly all the kits I can picture using in my head.
ET wise the EVO should destroy those cars, even the 177 mph trap speed Lambo's BUT he will be busting your *** shortly after the 1/4 is up! haha I figure the trap speeds on the EVO as a whole will drop compared to the 5 speed trap speeds but ET should improve nicely, .5 seconds like the DSM's? That's hard to say, sure would be nice though!
