6262 Or Engine Rebuild?
Alot of the longevity on stock motor setups has to do with how hrdcore the customer is, some people beat the cars hard.
It also has to do with the care that is exercised as I have seen 2 cars come in recently with spun bearings on stock engines with oil more than 2 quarts low.
If you care it and keep the output reasonable it will usually be fine for a long time.
In 2006 we had a stock engine evo doing 612 wheel hp, done many many 500+ cars on stock engine, over the years and very few failures.

I would personally do the 6262 then build your motor later on. Just don't too aggressive with the tune on the 6262 unless you have another core to use.
Another reason: When you get a built motor, best way to break it in is ***** out with your "finished" setup
