Boost farmer - No street racing videos are not permitted on the site. You are welcome to keep it a personal video and send people a pm a link if they request to see, but on the site the mods will remove it. I recommend that you wait for a track day to take him on, you will get better traction yourself and should cut a nice 60' which wont hurt. Then all you would have to do is hold him off to the line (highway runs, he will run you down eventually). And there would be more people to witness it at the track!

cursedsm - haha yeah for the turbo, but any immediate lead helps in the 1/4 in a closer type of race! haha

Just get the FP Green or Red turbo, then you can post closer to 430-470hp with the supporting mods without having to touch the bottom end. Good luck man.

i don't agree 100% with this list... mostly right but you don't need CAMS or E85 or fuel pump....

You should be able to make over 400hp with those mod's. Car just needs a good tune. I would get a bigger Fuel pump and maybe think about running E85. With E85 running a TME EVO 9 Turbo I made 410hp 458Torq. The E85 made a huge difference! And I am running a 340 Stealth Pump and 1450cc FIC BlueMax Injectors with a AMS Fuel Rail. Shouldn't cost you a arm and leg to upgrade you fuel system.

Also I made that Wheel HP at 32psi with E85 on a Mustang Dyno.

 

Sorry I have been away from the computer for a few days damn midnites, but you can do over 400 tq on stock block if the car is tuned properly with it. I am still on a stock block and I am over 450tq.


I disagree with your setup list aswell specially if you say you don't need a fuel pump. If you safely wanted to do anything fuel pump is and should be one of the first mods. Plus you really don't need to upgrade turbos to make 400whp specially since there are a ton of people making that kinda power on stock turbos with a few extra things. It's a matter of finding the right combos for the setup.


Not to say it wouldn't happen, but I do know what cars with 500tq feel like it and what the evos can do and if you beat him 25 to 125 he didn't have 500 tq in that mustang. Trust me when I say cars with that much tq and power even at a roll pull very very hard and the responce is instant. For an evo to pull as hard and as fast as a v8 I just don't see it. Video or not, that mustang didn't have the power he said.

 

Haha your funny, I was there when he dyno'd his cobra and also have video of him dynoing those number. We raced from a first gear roll and I was brake boosting so as soon as we hit third honk I was at 23psi so I had absolutely no lag.

Ill get them installed some time next week and keep the stock clutch to practice my launches rather then practice on a new clutch. I really want to do a dig with him that way a got a slim chance. I think from a roll at 600whp ill be creamed now hearing what you guys say and some youtube videos. So ill post a video and say it was filmed in mexico or post a link to it to youtube if thats ok with mods?

 

O and sorry for the update I forgot I do have a 255 in the car and getting a 1450cc FIC bluemax injectors
