Does anyone know someone that uses the Magnus Motor Sports 100mm crank? Never heard it mentioned anywhere on this site. I have billet 100mm Manley and if there is ever a problem that is where I was looking to head next.

 

Callies crank looks nice. I don't know if they're any better than Manley.

 

i was told they dont make it any more when I asked Curt Brown about it.

 

 

Oil port looks the same. Did they just smooth the port out internally?

 

I'm guessing they haven't released the updated version yet and are still testing it.

 

Crank was manufactured in 12/17 according to paperwork.

 

ideally a better solution would be a steeper angle that results in a thicker cross section where it cracks.. IMO

You do realize that most big names in engine internals has their products made in China or Taiwan and they finish machine them in the US. Eagle, K1, Manley, Scat, Crower, BC, Wiseco, cast/forged in Asia.

The only exception are companies like Winberg who's cranks cost $3k. Oliver and CP-Carrillo are the only ones I'm aware of that don't source castings and forgings from Asia for rods and pistons.

 

Balance and micro polish...hopefully this will live longer and stronger for you.
