This happened yesterday. Pulled the cover at 8pm and checked timing again and compression tested? No? And i work full time lol? Possible issue is timing of bent valves all it can be. Havent seen anything pointed out..

There's been plenty of things discussed here that you haven't investigated. You keep asking about the timing when we've said it's correct about 37 times.

It's interesting that you asked me to call you even though its fairly apparent you're not here to list to what we have to say.

I would first pull the cams and try to spin the crank with a ratchet by hand. It should be difficult to turn since all the valves are closed and pressure would be building on 2 cylinders while 2 cylinders would try to suck air past the closed valves. This won't break anything since all the valves are tucked up. At least then you'll know the engine is capable of building compression in its current state. This could be an issue with the valves just not closing all the way.

Heres a video with the rocker arms removed. Definitely building some pressure. But leaking from somewhere very slowly. Its hard to turn forsure.

Can the timing be off enough for the valves to not seat when there supposed to? I have cosworth cams stocker lifters.

This is my issue so it has to be timing... which i was trying to relay before i definitely didnt bend valves

you sure its stock lifters?

its almost like your lifters are keeping the valves open so that they wont close enough to build compression.

did you check the compression with the rockers out? this would let you know the condition of your valves

so... i had a Mivec 4g63, with supertech valves that i put no tick lifters in it... soon as i put the gsc lifters in it, .... No compression.

put the stock ones back in.. .fired right up.

i think the problem was the machine work on the head, and the valve stem height wasnt exactly correct, and the oem lifters didnt mind... but the longer gsc lifter made the valves stay open.
