Not sure how I trust them after reading all those comments. Is anyone here using version 2 and has no problems? Thanks a lot!!
about 20 hard launches and so far so good. there a slight rub as you can see in the pic but you cant feel it. I shift at the 8k going to 2nd. I did not remove the 3 pins but maybe later when I switch to a mitsu TOB

Thanks a lot for the answer!! Why is it rubbing, is pressure plate to thick?. Does it touch to the trans bell housing or clutch fork? So your's shift smooth at 8k rpm? Thanks!!

no shifting issues, no noise IMO also. I was told the v2 was "milled down" a bit. its just paint now and may be rubbing the fork or that part in the pic. the 3 pins would back out and damage the bell housing a bit so people just remove them. I dont know if the slight movement of the crank was the issue or a bit of heat expansion

Great to know, thanks a lot ! From the picture looks like yours is rubbing the fork a little. Wondering if grinding the fork would help with this. I think I will go ahead and order it and try it. I was using Quartermaster for the last 10+ years but I am getting older and I think I need something more comfortable.

Well, went to drop my trans the other day since I’m about to do a different engine build and I had issues with releasing the throw out bearing. You can see all the tabs wore off on the center lock collar so everytime I went to try and release the TOB, it would just push the ring in with the TOB instead of staying in place like it should so it would release from the monolock. I’ve been emailing back and forth with ACT and it looks like now they’re gonna just leave me hanging. I may have to just switch to an Exedy triple.

On the floater plate springs, if you were worried about that it seems like they fixed that issue. You can see the springs lasted about 2k miles now. The original one I had didn’t last this long. It is wearing out the surfaces the springs contact though.

so far my v2 center ring hasnt dropped any tabs, my v1 lost 5 tabs. I destroyed the PP spring to get it off the tob/trans, hopefully ACT wont charge me for that. I'm finally sending out my v1 clutch to ACT today. It took several months to get to this point, my supplier said Eric had a vacation and got sick
i wonder if the ACT TOB contributed to the issue(i have a mitsu TOB ready to go in). or if removing the 3 pins would allow slight movements for those tabs to not snap off. I'll probably do another 10 awd launches before I get in there again, if the TOB disconnects easily
