Just stopping to say sorry to hear about this dramarama with your warranty, MSM, and this ringthree idiot is a real toolbox. Everyone feel free to stick him on your ignore list; he clearly serves no purpose other than to be argumentative and troll this thread and lacks quite a bit of common sense.

i was just @ the event & i was sitting a few feet away when a couple of guys from modern garage (local shop) checked your dip stick and nothing was on it. i believe you if you say it had oil in it but that is what i heard them say when they checked it! either way motor failure sucks, good luck with your situation. i was just curious what really happened?
When these couple of guys ( How many people does it take to check the oil joke here.. ) popped someone elses hood and then decide dto be so kind as to check the oil level, but not point it out or fill it up, did they also throw sand in the motor and sugar in the gas tank?
If that were remotly true, what did they do after supposedly seeing no oil on the dipstick? just ignore it and then go do a few dozen 7000rpm launches to loosen up the motor and see if the oil was stuck or hiding somewhere??

MSM, I think something strange is going on here. You have the "Ghost Poster" who accuses you of not having oil in your engine, and we know for a fact that MMC is watching us now.... I think this poster silverofs had something to do with the Kennedy killing....

Who checked the oil.... Beevis and Butthead? Your credibility is very thin here as one or two poorly worded sentences are suspect. Either provide a complete description as you saw it or stay out of this discussion. If you have any question please PM me. Thanks.
Speedlimit...
silverofs is either Mike B. or Vesko. I was there too. There was no mention of the car not having any oil. BTW, if you weren't wanting to start anything, why didn't you just pm MSM? Were you bitter that you (Vesko) couldn't run that day or was if Mike that was upset that his codriver couldn't show him how to drive his own car? Whoever you are, why would you want to start this crap? What's your purpose or point?
It's amazing how fast and how twisted speculation and rumors fly. Rumors included that my son had totaled the car by running into a pole, that we'd overboosted the car to 30 PSI, that the clutch and transmission failed and apparently also that the car was run out of oil.
There is no dramatic story, no pole, plenty of oil, no modifications ... I'm positive that those responsible for the Kennedy assasinations are innocent in this case, but I'm not entirely sure that the one armed man was not involved.
On a lighter note, I'm in Melbourne Australia for a few days this week. Wonderful place to visit, but DAMN it ... it's winter time here now. So after about 23 hours in transit including layovers in LA and Sydney I picked up my rental car in Melbourne (sadly not an S2000 or even an Evo) and drove the 22 KM into the city. It's phucking hard to remember to drive on the wrong side of the street with so little sleep. I caught myself several times making mistakes here and there -- especially at intersections. The real topper though was when I used the exit to pull into the main checkin area at the hotel. The three hotel employees greeted me with "you must be a yank, you best be turn'in the rental car before you get yourself killed"
Well, I'm off for some Fosters
and then a really long nap!
