I have had problems with my mitsu dealership about a clutch in LA.They wouldnt replace the clutch because of small tire wear saying I was riding it hard.

I didn't see anything new on the article in Sport Compact Car. I just scanned over it, but saw the usual "we don't proactively screen for people on the web who may be abusing their car etc." MSM2k was mentioned etc. was about it.

Evo Nick- I read your post and thought that kinda' sucks on the dealers part for doing that over a little tire wear. Then I read your sig. below which lists a 1/4 mile time. Dude! I wouldn't give you a new clutch either!

I read it. It just more or less said what most of us already know and accept as life. No one should expect any car company to pay for damages due to competition or modifications.

Extended Warranty Not Mitsu?

I was wondering if anyone here had purchased an Extended Warranty from an independent company for there EVO? I am looking at a few options online that each run about $1,200 for the best package. By any chance can anyone here recommend one that is friendly to mods? I talked to guardian-warranty.com on the phone today and they seem to be pretty friendly with mods. Basically I was told if it breaks we will fix it just take it to in my case to TurboTrix and we will write them a check. But I would like to get your input on this idea...

Thanks for the help!

I was sondering something similar. I was offered a warranty from my credit union as well. I was thinking that I could do something similar after the warranty was over / or wa voided.

Transfer case...Factory Rep...Mods...Warranty..

I have been through several transfer cases already. This time the factory rep is coming to look at my car. The only mods I have are the Injen intake with intercooler piping and a 3" turboback exhaust. Is my transfer case warranty in jeopardy? I haven't been beating the hell out of my car.

Put it back to stock before he sees it. If the rep sees any mods he will say that is what caused it....even tho we all know that's not the reason. I wouldn't take any chances. Putting it back to stock costs alot less than a t-case.
