Just upgrading.
And Guys Scott's STI had no BLING what to so every A full dressed STI will all top end JDM parts throw out the car.
Yep I agree with you the STI is just not much more diffrent over the WRX as far as handling. And the power is not that great plenty on the bottom completely lame on top. Car feels odd and the DCCD just make to much noise like it's falling apart.
Good Luck with it Scott. CHANGE THE OIL!!!!

Damn and I thought you were going to buy my Fujitsubo catback...now I see why you never got back to me
Congrats on the new car, nice color choice too....I wanted to get white, but the dealer sold it before I was ready to buy...

Welcome to the club, I also have tested both cars and they both are great in their own things but overall the Evo is my choice and it's best one ever that I have made in a sports car. Even some of my Muscle car freinds are thinking about switching to the Evo.
Good luck and enjoy the evolution I am still impressed every day as I learn it's limits which I might add are very high and cant really be seen until you get it on a track or autocross

I hope it wasn't silver with 1300 miles on it, mine was in for service :-). EVO mehanic there said they had ordered 30 originally because the owner liked them and I think they only have 2 left (red and yellow) . I paid sticker back in April. Anyway, I had mine in for the 2nd gear grind. EVO Mechanic (gus, super nice guy, although he did not know the clutch line has a restrictor in it) said he could not get it to grind. I take him for a ride and nail 2nd gear seven times with absolutely no grinding. I can't beleive it. Only thing I can think of is it does not seem to do it when it is cold out?? Anyway, sorry for jacking your thread, I'll repost this in drivetrain section :-)................
