j/k for all you Subaru loyalists You can also raise the rev limit on the Evo if you wanted...which is done with thw Works ecu and in turn would produce an even higher top speed. IMO 156mph is PLENTY fast though. There is no need to go even close to that on public roads.
The reason I said top speed limit can't be changed on the EVO is because I saw on the EVO brochure it says Mechanically limited instead of Electronically limited, not true?

Yes. But raise the rev limit/fuel cutoff like the Works ecu does and the top speed will be a little higher. I wonder what rpm the Sti is turning when it hits the electronic limit Anyone?

Top speed is rev limited. The WORKS ECU flash enables the car to exceed a calculated 160+ mph (in a controlled environment).

Please spare me with how the STi is a vastly superior car.

Let's get a few things straight.

1. There isn't a single compro in existance from a major publication that has declared the STi the victor. Final count
8 votes for the EVO, 0 for the STi.

2. The pricing isn't even close. Here in the NY Metro area the markup on most Evos is now MSRP. The STi with fewer models being made is regularly selling for $40,000 (w/o stereo). With less than half the number of STis compared to EVOs being produced expect this to continue. (Give me a NY, NJ, CT STi at MSRP or even close and I'll buy it)

3. The EVO is bigger, faster (0-60 which matters off the track since I can only go 90 without getting my car taking away mostly), and far more affordable. Not only that but insurance hits the next bracket at 300hp so enjoy those higher premiums.

4. There is a major problem with detonation in STis. Major in the auto industry is defined as more than 5% of vehicles sold for a particular model year. Yes it is early in the STi life but not a good sign. I'd rather have sporadic transmission grindings than detonation issues.

But hey opinions are free.

Did anyone else notice the Pagani Zonda kicking everyone else's butt at #1?? More than 5 seconds ahead of the Evo! Goodness gracious I wonder how it feels like to be in a car that quick!

I can HEAR the video but I can only see the first 20 seconds or so. As soon as you see Jeremy's Face, the video freezes ! Anyone experience this?

I played it in Media player, Quicktime didn't seem to have the correct plug-in.

Your quote above is wrong and misleading. This forum and NASIOC and I-Club would be much better without the "droppings" of the EVO ownz the STI and vise versa crowd. Like you?

You need to download the DIVX codec from divx. The codec is free.

you asked a biased forum. try bringing this issue up on an sti forums, see what they have to say? not bashing the evo or anything like that just saying try to get different prespectives.

Somehow I doubt that anything spoken as the gospel by someone named Trollski should actually be given any consideration... at all. He/she/it is a self proclaimed troll, so don't argue with it. Sorta like arguing with with a mule, it makes you look stupid and pisses off the mule.
