Evo vs. STI | Anything and Everything [ALL THREADS MERGED]
You can say all you want about this car doing this and that car doing that, but it been settled by professionals that the Evo is a superior car. They've driven them harder than any of us could and regardless of the HP advantage of the scoobie it just simply is a harder car to drive smoothly which makes it slower on many road courses. Yeah Yeah you're probably saying I could smoke an EVO cause I got 300hp, but I have news NEITHER of these cars are drag cars. Their birth is from the rally circuit and if you're in the know you'll know that the new WRC Champion is driving what? A SUBARU STI!! That's only until
gets the going with their 04 program.
Anyway, I know for a fact that many of the STi's were having a problem with their drive by wire control setting of the CEL when the cruise control was on and even when it wasn't. So, you Evo owners should be happy you don't have all that techno crap in your cars. One more thing to break. These cars already have too many moving pieces. Haa!
Regardless, the Evo falls in the Super hero car class IMO with the BMW M3, because a 2 year old could get in and go fast without even trying. Which makes it so dangerous at the same time. So when you adding all that doo daads to the car think about making it stop and handle too would ya!
Lastly, whatever you chose you have a great car far ahead of any car from the 60's, 70's, 80's or 90's.
Me...I'm getting an Evo.

It's on Saturday mornings on SpikeTV. There's a whole lineup of car tv shows on Saturday mornings. I have them automatically recorded, so I don't really know what time it goes on.
