Looks awesome.

My car is at the shop waiting for new front and rear bumpers, so I really want to get my headlights painted flat black...

I have tried to contact Evodave through his website and this forum, but just have not had any success.

Does anyone have any tips on how to contact him so I can send my headlights out? Alternately, does anyone else offer the service? Looking to change OEM VIII headlights to JDM style (black or flat black with amber turn signal)...

Please post or PM, any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Honestly I barely see a difference between the "modified" versions and the stock versions when it comes to light output... Just my .02

You use bbq grill paint.

I painted one black and the guy air brushed some graffiti in there and then i resealed them. Thouse were the coolest headlights ive ever done.

Put mini heat of compition stickers in there now thats sick

Ok, here are the specs of the headlight:
* FX-R BiXenon projector inplace of the OEM unit.
Why? This is why:

The OEM CT9A projector doesn't come close to performing at good as this in terms of:
- width
- colorful cutoff
- intensity

* E46-R shrouds fitted into the low and high beam housings:

* OEM 3" glass lens fitted into high beam housing for the "Quad Projector" look ONLY. It dies not light up AT ALL. The rest of the OEM projector thrown away.

* Custom Aluminum shields made of cans of soda then painted red with VHT brake caliper paint (not sure on model)

* entire HL painted Satin Black, using VHT SP305 "Satin Black" sandable primer (final look)
