This weekend the car should get a bov and a fuel surge tank. We are going to tune the car for a road race event with a professional driver, so we are actually going to take some power away from it in the interest of keeping the engine alive.

Very excited for you kozmic! Best of luck, and can't wait to see the results of the road race. Would love to hear the pro drivers feedback on the setup (Response, Handling, Breaking). Take some solid pics of the event please ( need a new wallpaper )! RR X MR's FTMFW!

MDR for surge I'm going to guess but what BOV are you going to install? What BOV do you use?

I use an older style 3 hose synapse on my car fully recirc and it does fine. We are going to vta Jeremy's for the road coarse, since we can disable the related codes that put the MR's in limp. I believe he is going to use a Tial bov.

New Synapse any good for application? Want to upgrade leaky stock bov - what do you recommend?

The car actually looks much better in person than in photo's.

For some reason the MR's like the synapse. Other than not wanting a leaker, the GSR seems more tollerant of different valves. We ended up putting my Synapse on Jeremy's car, and recirculated it. He has a Tial Q that he is going to install and test, so hopefully that works out well. If I end up buying a new one, it will be another Synapse.

I believe he has his mods in his sig, perhaps other than the turbo, wich is currently a 3582 single scroll standard, meaning no HTA or billet wheel. If you are wanting to run this size turbo on a street MR, I would recomend going twin scroll, billet wheel hta. The gearing is close enough on the MR that you will not see much benefit to the open scroll on the street, and because of the way the trans works, the quicker spool of the twin scroll with a billet wheel is worth the extra money imho. I would put a trans cooler from SSP on the must do list for the MR, and depending on where you live, also a radiator upgrade because the cooler sits in front of it.
