Rob, what is Cobb’s definition of Stage 2? Is Stage 2 for exhaust, intake or a combination of both? (Think on your website it says for Suby’s it was exhaust only). And of course the next question is what the ETA date is for AP Stage 2?

We're currently finishing off our STG II, although we do not have a strict definition as of yet. The ETA for STG II should be the end of next week.

Thanks,
Rob

Hey Robb, what's the ETA on the fix for the boost being max out @ 18 on the AP. I want to start logging star to learn about how the car operates. So i can gear up once i get my AFR so maybe i tune it a bit. Thanks.

Also there's was a rumor of you guys maybe making and upgraded boost line with a less restrictive pill and a map coming with it? Real or HOAX?

There is no ETA as of yet. It will be a little bit of custom work given that the Manifold Pressure Monitor is maxed out from the factory at 18.xx psi. Currently we're looking for a proper work around.

Thanks,
Rob

Interesting, I have logged it maxing out at 255 kPa. Which is around 22 psi or so (after taking out atmospheric) at sea level.

It's the same 3 bar map sensor that the JDM/UK evo 8/9 models had that a bunch of USDM owners are now using so I know once you get the software cap off it will log 30+ psi no problem.

As of this moment, when you view engine data live or log data with the AP, the max boost you will see is 18 psi. I believe they are using the MAP sensor, and i guess all that is reporting is 18PSI, not sure why since is a 3 bar sensor, 1 bar is like 14.3 or .7 psi i think.

Maybe razor can explain it better.

Well if you have a boost gauge is good, buttttttttt.

If you ever decide to tune or just have some issue and want to log what the engine is doing it is better to have full and correct numbers. You can't sit and write boost numbers at each rpm and drive now can you

^Im sure that it will be updated soon. I have a lot to learn though before I try to tune the car myself. I still have to learn what a dam bar is.

Hi Bryan,

Theoretically you should be able to read out 22.48psi (255KPa-155KPa) from the ECU, but there is a factory conversion limiting the range of values. Therefore, if our conversion is correct, 18.287psi is the max value that can be displayed due to the factory conversion.

Feel free to PM me.

Thanks,
Rob
