YOU ARE NOT SERIOUS !!!!! first of all, a cavalier is a much lighter FWD car with a not so aggressive gear ratio and also designed for daily driving. Not to mention, it is also highly underpowered to be putting any kind of serious power through the transmission. The comparison just plain does not hold credibility.

congratulations on the cavalier, but its a known fact that the evo's come with "not so good" clutches. whether its to protect the drivetrain from experiencing excessive shock or mitsu getting cheap on us, its just the way it is. Your driving style defines how long the clutch will last in most cases. The clutch may not give up on you, but the stock clutch DOES slip in certain cases without engaging the clutch pedal. The simple fix is to get a good aftermarket clutch that'll do the job better.
