Man I wish I didn't drive my car in winter...it could still look shiny.

On the other hand a car is supposed to be driven, gotta use it! Plus it owns in the snow.

Good lucking stuff CBRD, i am impressed.

wow wow wow on all fronts. The FMIC and piping looks amazing! Does mounting the BOV up pre-intercooler work ok? I seem to remember from turbo 101 that having the BOV closer to the TB lets it react better...will be very interested to see how this setup works, it looks *so* clean!

Also, what intake is that? I love the filter placement! Where is the perrin though?

murlo, I drive my car all winter, just gotta wipe off the pipes every once in a while, it stays amazingly clean, and polishes up nicely with a little elbow grease

quick question? looking at the uicp, can you put a v-band clamp? I was told that it wouldnt be suggested because of the engine movement?

we dont use vband clamps on anything aluminum, we use wiggins or hargett clamps..

there is a hump hose at the junction from the pipe that comes over the rad support to the one going around the engine, and the pipe out of the turbo has a bracket to support it from the side of the motor

our option is to put quick disconnects at the intercooler inlets and outlets

What other mods are you running?

these were custom made cores specifically for the EVO X... we couldn't find any existing cores that we liked, which is why it took so long
also, the tanks will be waterjet cut, and will look slightly different (aka a few less welds)
cheers

Whats this air diverter you speak of ?

You can click the link in my sig or check the last few posts on my dyno thread for the details. I'll start a new dyno thread when this is installed.

Yeah, I think that makes it roughly 2mm bigger on the inducer than a Garrett 76mm wheel and 1mm smaller than the 82mm wheel. So in a back of the envelope type of guess, it should be a 600-625ish crank hp turbo. I'm pretty sure the Dom II uses the Garrett 76mm wheel (website says it flows 52 lbs/min, and Garrett says its 76mm wheel is 52 lbs/min, and Blouch is a Garrett distributor), so this SHOULD flow more. We don't know how the turbine sides compare though.

It would be easier if CBRD just said what the measurements were.....
