Anyway, with my IDC at 73% on 1010 cc DW injectors and AFR @ 11.6, I estimate power to actually be somewhere around 480 WHP right now. On the stock 550-600 cc/min injectors I was seeing 83% duty cycle outputting around 320 WHP uncorrected. Let me put it this way: if I were running Deatschwerks 800 cc's right now, they would be maxed out!

I'd have had this thing on the dyno 3 times by now if it were FWD or RWD, but AWD dynos are few and far between around here. Sucks, but I know my estimated power figures are somewhere in the correct ballpark; going off IDC on known flow-rated injectors is usually pretty reliable.
I'll have to post a boost curve of a 3rd or 4th gear run from 2000-8000 sometime to compare. Seems like spool is no worse than the GT30 and if it holds 30 psi at 7500 it will definitely have more top end potential.

If you are using 73% of 1010cc Injectors then that's 737cc so you would be about 92-93% IDC with 800cc injectors. That's actually about where my setup reads at 25 psi but it was cold and dense air so likely similar flow. Either way I don't like running over 90% IDC myself so larger injectors and fuel pump are needed for my setup as well. Likely the fact that it holds boost past 7000 better is what is going to make this a nice turbo!

That seems remarkable to me based on Dom2/Red boost plots.

I have one (maybe) sick cylinder that is 10 psi lower than the rest.
I'm not very knowledgeable but you said your car had a problem and I took your word for it.

Yeah I tested spool again today on the highway and 5th is about 3200-3300 rpm to full boost, and 4th is about 3600-3800. Not bad!

And I'm also at 4500 ft, so factor in about 10% power loss up here for high-pressure turbo cars. I think at sea level I'll see 80% IDC at 30 psi.

Here is how the CBRD BB-X holds boost up top with a ported stock manifold and ported hot side:

30 psi @ 7500 rpm! AND at 4500 ft above sea level.

Seems inline to me. I've had a Dom 2.0 hold 28psi with room to spare.

Then I guess there just haven't been enough aggressive Dom tunes posted on any of the major forums. The ones that I've seen were all 25psi or so and most of them on pump. The Dom just doesn't seem to attract the more aggressive owners.

chad/someone,

Are we going to see tests on 93 as well? I don't want to run meth, and if this can get me to 475+ whp on 93 with cams revving up to 8500, then no need for a 35r kit :-)

One question UT_EvoX,

Did you calibrate the Evoscan MAP parameter for your altitude?

Just want to make sure this data is accurate.
