The clutch and brake hydraulic systems share fluid and a reservoir, so yes, new brake fluid is included.

Quote: I just had my CMC replaced yesterday under the recall. I was the first the dealer had done and it took about 6 hours from when I dropped it off to when they called.

The clutch engagement feels about the same but it almost feels smoother/lighter. That could be from a fluid change also.

So after 1 day...no problems! I can also confirm they were instructed to take pictures of the calipers...and probably all the aftermarket parts I had on the car.
Why do they have to take picture of the calipers ?

The color of the calipers will determine if the car has been tracked or not. No idea if that's their reasoning or not, but it's the first thing that popped into my mind.

Spoke directly with the "evo service tech" at my dealer and he said it takes about 4-5 hours and they have to take pictures and notes to send back to corporate, so modders beware.

I only have an intake and UICP.....but I just don't like the fact that they are taking pictures of our vehicles for non-issues. Almost like a witch hunt......

It's not all that uncommon. It could very well just be research for Mitsu to try and get a better idea of what was/wasn't causing CMC failures. The dealership had to send certain pictures of my car back to corporate when replacing my transfer case under warranty.

Mine is also currently at the dealership. Just turned her in this morning. Will pick up after work and give you guys an update. According to the service manager, if you have a 2013 and older model, you should qualify.

As for modding, I asked the service manager if they are going to take pcitures and all they need to do is take a picture of my brakes to send over to mitsubhishi...that's it. So I don't think you have to worry if you are modded.
