I wanna see everything
Try to find a video clip of this EVO VI vs IX shootout (stock for stock): http://fifthgear.five.tv/jsp/5gmain....ction=Shootout
(It's around somewhere on the net, just can't find it now). The results may stump you, especially that you are so sure about your statements.

Turbo for the X????
Okay, i didn't get the replies i wanted to on the turbo forum, so i'm gonna post it here.
I just got a turbo from Mitsu Japan, to replace my blown up MgTi Turbo.
Physically it looks like a standard JDM 9 MR turbo, but BIGGER, the blades are of different geometries and some of it has round cuttings to it.
It has a 15.5 on compressor housing instead of the normal 12.5 of the JDM 9 MR. USDM get only a 10.5 on the hotside if i'm not mistaken.
Anyhow, i've been looking for specs or info about this turbo but got none. And since i don't understand kanji, i couldn't go around looking on the japanese website.
I will run the car with the new turbo later today (just got it installed)
Does anyone have info on this?
Thanks

15.5 compressor housing?? Wow, i didnt even know the jdm evo 9 had a 12.5 hotside.... Why r these hotside options not available in aftermarket from from vendors like buschur? I mean they port to a 10.5, why not a 12.5. I can only assume its because it doesnt help the turbo that much??? sorry for off topic a bit.. but i am extremely curious...

Don't know if you can believe anything written in this article, but judge for yourself.
We've seen Mitsubishi's Concept-X, giving us a very good indication as to what the future Lancer-based Evo X will look like. But here are the first pictures of an Evo X mule running at speed at the Nuerburgring in Germany.
The new Evo X will share a platform with the new Dodge Caliber, Mitsubishi's Outlander and Chrysler's next-generation PT Cruiser.
With over 300 horsepower, the Evo X will be powered by a four-cylinder turbocharged MIVEC 2.0-liter engine, mated to a six-speed clutchless transmission. Other features include steering-wheel paddle-shift controls, and an improved AWD system. The Car Connection.
