Lancer Evolution X News, Info, Pics, etc... | [ALL THREADS MERGED]
some of the hardcore evo fans love the 9 cuz its like a lotus, downright ready to track with...
well for me, i like a well rounded car cuz it makes me feel like im gettin my moneys worth, aside from that, i like well rounded products.
if i truly wanted a racing machine, i'll just get a lotus. but anyways, the reason why i like the evo X so much and would rather get it than a bmw (which i get discount for, for wroking FOR bmw) is because, evo has its legacy and history. i've never met an evo owner that regrets buying the car. the car is a 4wd 4 dr (practical) driving machine. it looks good when its modified, and when you drive it, you cant stop the adrelaning rush that keeps comin up to your head. and now the evo X has a much more refined interior and more well equipped and a completely updated look.
now i can drive up from socal and down from norcal with comfort and have a car that has updated technology so my friends that has a lexus IS wont go, "dude, your car is so cheap, i can throw up on it and it wont make a difference"
besides, none of us know the pricing or the engines horsepower output, or how the handling is. so none of us can say "we don't like it". so far it looks pretty damm F**King good

the X is going to be a beauty just wait until you see one lower or running mid 11's you know how these things are we are influenced by performance and potential to look good and if it comes with 325 hp that means it's right therepossibly knocking on 12.5 1/4 mile times
I'm starting to dig the X. I picked up my IX a couple of months ago, and now I'm wondering if I shouldn't have waited. I love the SE, don't get me wrong, but I also don't track the car so some of the options on the X are appealing to me. I like the sound system options and the nav system. I know those are options on the new Lancer, so I assume they will be available for the Evo. Anyway, I would miss the manual shifter and some of the parts that makes this generation so great. I'm looking forward to seeing the X in person.
