In japan, they are calling the new Lancer Galant. Confusing.

So, in Japan they will call the Evo X Galant Evo X? That's weird.
I have a feeling that they will drop the Lancer and Galant names and just call it Evolution X.

Just to confirm the car is to debut at the Tokyo motor show in October. I believe there was conjecture around whether it would be Tokyo or Frankfurt - here in Australia the Ralliart brand are running a competition where you can win a trip to Japan to see the car debut at Tokyo.
So, only about 2 months to go

My money is on that the car will be debut at Frankfurt for the European market.
Also EVO X was spotted in Canberra Australia yesterday for testing
This is the reason why I have been so negative about mitusbishi for the last 6 months.
I have to make a negative comment with capital letter on how poor and miserable Mitsubishi motors has been about releasing / launching the Evo X.
It has been more than 3 years people, this car was bully built over 3 years ago. The Evo 8 was modified(05 Evo 8, Even the Evo 9 was launched during this time while the Evo X was already made).
How much longer do we have to wait for the Evo X?, this is shameful. Many expectation, many promises and the car is still a "show car" that drives all over the world but never gets released
. What else are we waiting for?
In World world II Jeep corporation was given a goverment contract to build an all wheel terrain vehicle (*****) for the War from scratch, they managed to fully built and produce a few hundred thousands within the next following weeks /months.
Why do we have to wait a single more day for the Evo X?. There are no dynos, there are no 1/4 mile times, this car has been kept secretly for the most part.. I really hate it

It is not like Mitusbishi "discover the fire" either, the "innovative shifting mechanism is going to be a copycat of the existing VW/Audi DSG.
As far is the "innovative" AWD system, again, Acura already has what Mitsubishi Evo X suppose to have, distribuition of traction front to back and side to side. the downside and funny part is that Acura cars are available at the dealer while the Mitsubishi Evo X continues to be a *** teaser.
You see what I mean guys? something is innovative when no one else has it, if you have a great mechanical concept but is never released then it will always be a concept and not an available product.
Sorry, I need to vent this out because what I think Mitsubishi Motrors is doing right now is nothing but throwing sand on their on marketing. By taking too long to release something that might be a sign that there are things now going so well(I guess) with the project. Lets we all just hope that Mitsubishi really puts the best product on this Evo X, so far the wait has been ...
