If it is going to be sold in this country and be above a half star front and side impact rating, you are going to have to add 1000lbs to that.
Titanium maybe? but that = light and very expensive

People say that for every version evo came out and look what happened, people still buy them.

They'll usually say "Didn't like it when I first saw it but it grew on me" or "It looks better in person than I thought".

This isn't "automatic". It's a clutchless 6-speed paddle shifter. If the X does resemble this as it has been rumored, they better have a 6-speed manual option or I wouldn't buy. As was said on another thread about this, the paddles may save some shifting time, but you just don't feel part of the car.

for some reason i look at it and i see a catfish. either way i dig it. if the real thing looks anything like that, and mitsu pulls their heads out of their asses customer service-wise, i would strongly debate buying one.

Give me a 2500lb, 400hp stock, SYC equipped Evo X RS in Graphite Grey!
I agree.

Wow! Excellent work

This will definitely be my next car, but not till the second model year after the initial bugs are worked out.

One thing I don't get -- EVOs up through IX are based on the Lancer. Is the EVO X a stand alone vehicle? I would find it very hard to believe that Mitsubishi would go to the expense of developing an entirely new platform and body design for a niche vehicle like the EVO.

Guys, please remember this is a CONCEPT!!!!....not the real car thats going to be in production, but the design direction is there, specially the front end.

Now, my 2 cents:

1-Front end look good, i like it...very agressive....looks mean, but that mid section on the front bumper (the black one ) reminds me to much of Audi, but that can be fixed easly with some paint, and i believe it will look better

2- Rims are not that bad, but damn, there 20"

Interiors looks to futuristic, seats are ok, but the dash and auto-shift paddle tranny sux.

3-Now, the rear and the overall shape of the car is a big dissapoinment...i hate it and it looks awfull..hope it goes through some major changes before the actual produciton vehicle....oh and 2 exhaust???...no way!

I dont know....EVO's have always been a "boxy" style kind of car, and this one has nothing of that style most people have come to love.

Time will tell i guess.
