And still, we haven't heard a squeek of what Mitsu has to offer for 2011/2012... Could it be because Subi has some of the best sales ever, and Mitsu is falling short every year? i think so. i don't know if i can stay loyal to them for long at this rate....
Mitsu's sales were up 17% last month, I don't think they're ready to throw in the towel just yet.
The RVR is on its way for September, along with (I heard!) a refreshed '11 Lancer. So expect '11 Evo X changes, at least interior wise...

yeahhhhh it's.... it's..... pretty nice. I'd drive that thing like a maniac. I sat down in the new STI and it's feel like the old school evo's before the X when it comes to hood to windshield length. I like that compact feel, makes me fell more in control of the car.
if the worst come to worst and the hybrid wont work out , i have a new back up plan

I think that the front end of that STi looks like the Saab front end. But that's not really a bad thing. I'm going to go out on a limb here, but I'm thinking the sedan STi sales are going to be a lot more than the wagon STi sales when this is released.
I can't wait to see another Top Gear episode of this new STi vs. the EVO X. STi vs. EVO episodes are the best. The X dominated last time so maybe with the new STi it'll be an even match...

The pictures of the EVO looked stunning in motortrend looked stunning.
Subaru hatchback STI looked dull. The tail is what makes it stands out and I am a big fan of the tail.
The EVO VI used to have the best tail in my opinion - unfortunately did not make it to the US though.

Mitsu announces new Evo XI will actually be a hybrid diesel, not hybrid petrol!
Good-bye Evo!!!!!

I think Mitsu is playing with Fire... messing around and trying new ideas with their flagship, icon car... who would be that stupid... why cant they try all that diesel-electric-hybrid crap on the regular lancer, or the outlander, then if it sells and it works, add them hybrid stuff to the Evo as well
but dont be trying new crap on the only car that has your butt afloat right now

I fear CAFE could ruin motorsports.
A diesel hybrid Evolution will never make it to the states. If they think the X isn't selling well, they will be shocked at how many people will shun the new car market if they turn out cars like this. The tree huggers might like it, but they are 180 degrees from the target demographic of the Evolution and STI. May the good cars have long service in the hands of owners who will work hard to keep them running for many years.
