ok so not much to update, but it seems like the last 2 computers ive gotten (older g5 mac and a dell d400 laptop) both of which have given me nothing but headaches the last few weeks. but i spose its what i had coming because like about a month or so ago i punched out like 15 without any hassle.

anywho i think im gonna build a 4g94 engine. i wanna do the g64 swap but for the time and money that i dont have (thank you taxes and thank you student loans!) the g94 is gonna be a better option i think for me (i found a few about an hour north of where i live for $150).

I was thinking about the swap but it would be nice just to own the evo, I thought about turboing the lancer selling it for about 6-7 grand "hopefully a teenager lol..." Put a down payment on 03-05 evo 8 and boom get a loan, there selling down here for about 14 grand easy with 20 k miles. How much do you think that swap is compared to buying a new car?

ya i soldered in 2 new led's and it still didnt work so which then means that its something on the board. i bought another greddy boost gauge from their outlet site on ebay and im gonna harvest the board out of it since its a white faced and i want the black faced.

so heres one for you all, and as the famous redneck saying: here hold my beer and watch this.....

this is whats left of my release fork tonight. its been hard to shift into gears the past week or so and i thought i was low on trans fluid. i got 4 qts of amsoil 75w90 coming, and i thought i was low so i found a bottle i had left over from the last time i did my trans and filled her up. well that wasnt what was wrong. the rest of it is still in the trans, and now i got to order the part and also to drop the trans and get the rest of it out and to also to replace it as well.

i bought the car used in 05 with 44k on it. had to replace the trans at 124k (24k being turboed due to bad syncro(s) or bearing(s). didnt know didnt care so i just replaced it). the trans i got in there now is off an 04 oz rally and was pulled off at like 60-65k. i have put about 20k on it since i bought it.

it is under a lot of pressure but i dont thnk that my clutch (act mb8-xtss) and everything else is to blame for that. i mean some of it does but this is the first ive snapped one in all my years of circle track racing and stuff like that.

Hmmm... my guess is something happened that impacted the clutch fork at some point weakening it. Oh well at least its an easy fix

well easy to a point. 3hrs to replace a $45 part and a case of beer, maybe 2.

after looking at it closer today you can see a lighter and a darker spot on the casting which looks then to me that it was weakend at some point in time and i just finished it off last night.
