Man thats wierd, only things I can think of is the linkage was somehow put on wrong or you did mess something up inside the tranny and you just knocked everything out completly dropping it outta the car

hey quick question lets say your getting some money pretty soon, and you have your turbo kit almost to completion, but you have enough to get an evo. would you dump the lancer project and buy an evo. Or just fix up the lancer?
Not saying this will happen
depends on the insurance. i prolly wood get the evo if the insurance was right but being 23 and un married insurance tends to be high

looked over all that on sat linkage wise. there is only 2 bosses with tapped threads on the trans where the linkages mount to that i know of. well we did drop it out but with a tranny jack is how we did it. idk im gonna have to tinler with it here sommore.

and i could have my new car by this weekend as well, only cuz its a super good price on that wrx. the guy is selling it for 2k under bb value because of the situation im in right now.

I agree with Jrr, if you can afford the insurance go for the evo. I have made my desicion to roll with the lancer for awhile then sell it and put that money towards an evo since I now have a lot of knowledge on how to tune one .

^^+1

i got my insurance quote on my "possible" soon to be subie and to put my lancer into storage until i can totally fix it, it actually comes in 11 less than what im paying now for full coverage on my lancer! so that would be storage insurance on the lancer and full coverage on the subie for about $450 i think every six months or something like that.

we my dad is apparently suppose to be giving me money, So I figured if I can get a $5,000 loan, sell my turbo kit, and get at least some good money for my car then I could buy my evo for about 14K or less if I get lucky. But if anyone is looking to buy a lancer I'm selling mine for about 4800 k with 95,000 miles.

Or if you spend 5,500 I will throw in a almost complete turbo kit with the car. But I do take offers. Maybe I'll put in the for sale part of this thread. But I will check on the insurance tomorrow morning

And If I can't sell it, I guess I just fix up the lancer, kind of a win win situtation, except not having an evo

Here's a trans available for $380 shipped:

I've purchased two Lancer transmissions and two 4G94 engines from LKQ on ebay. They ship very fast.

Nice man you have the 1.3u cable as well huh? That means you can start tuning right off in the subie . BA k when I first bought my lancer I think I bought a tranny for $540 shipped but I haven't had a lick of issue with it even now turboed so well worth it. I should have. changed my throwout beating when I installed the clut h though I can hear its going out oh well.
