I havent actually flashed those values in. Those are the values from Steven he sent me. The Stepper table there is the same values my Tephra rom came with but pretty sure I am running stock lancer values there. Well still no dips in the idle but the bouncing idle is now pretty much everytime I start the car and there getting more aggressive. Going to try Stevens just to see what happens and if no go there try burners suggestions. Oh ya slow spool is back... again . Starting to run crappy more than it runs good lol. Ive got a couple things myself I am going to try but I might have to back off on this for a little while. Wife is getting pretty ticked at me as I am spending pretty much EVERY second Im not sleeping, eating, or working I am working on my car or on here trying to figure out my next move lol.

Probably is my turbo gong out lol that would be the icing on the cake. In person though it really sounds like its coming from the passenger side of the engine. Think im going to pull my upper timing cover to be sure nothing is loose there

So does anyone know if there is a stock evo rom (non tephra) that has big maps added to it?

Yeah much much smaller than the Big maps I have been using to tune with for quite awhile now. They just still seem so small now.

Yeah Im not too sure what to do at this point. Tested the wg flapper theory I had but no its not causing this noise. There is nothing that I can tell rattling on anything else. Pulled my timing cover off and everything is good in there. Idk Im about to jump ahead in my schedule and pull this turbo/manifold assembly off early. I just know the wife will flip wondering why its down AGAIN. :-/

Sooooo... it is in fact my turbo making that noise . At the meet tonight me and a buddy positively tracked the noise. So First thing tomorrow morning I am ripping the cold side back off. Might just pull the whole radiator and manifold and all off. Just a PITA to do it with those slim fans. That and just tired of ripping crap off of this car I just wanna drive and be happy lol.

So turbo is off AGAIN, good news is turbo is fine no shaft play. As far as the noise coming from the turbo, I can only guess I somehow didn't have it flush and that thin piece of metal that sits behind the turbine fins was rattling. I went ahead and did a little more grinding on it to be safe. Will probably throw it back on tonight after work and hope were good

No I started with the coldside and if I found the turbo ****ed I was going to pull it all and redo it. Really wasn't feeling pulling the slim fans out so luckily shouldn't have to. Im off work in about an hour I am going to get it put back together then test it out tomorrow morning.
