Alright so I made a little error in a previous statement. Looks like my 144 came from my 2 degree advance map but I had knock counts of 3 and one 4 count, so after I backed the timing off 1 degree My hp dropped from 144 to 128, maybe its my plugs? Think I might get some lower heat range ones tomorrow and see what happens, should I just get one step colder or two? Do you lose power the colder you go? Was thinking of getting the ngk- bkr7e seems to be what people are using.

NGK 7's is exactly what you want. Its 100% required when going turbo. For the $5 they cost i'm surprised you havent done that yet. Your mixture will burn more completely, and you'll reduce your knock counts a lot easier. Your tune will be way more accurate and you'll probably see your #'s go up a little. When you pull the old plugs check their condition too. See if you've been too lean or rich, etc

Well went down and no one stocks the plugs so wont get those until tuesday Oh well I should pull my car in the garage I think I bent a rotor while I was doing the install and now I have noise coming from there. So until I get my plugs I am not switching anything around. I upped my timing a little and smoothed it out a little, my afrs are right around 10.8-11 so almost there gonna get my timing curve looking good than lean it out just a tad, wont flash this to the car thought until I get my plugs.

Ok well I got my new plugs in yesterday, I have been trying to smooth the timing transition getting rid of knock and working on gaining power. One question for yall. I have been doing one single pass then tweaking the map, same strip of road, same direction all back to back. My ecuload has been ever so slightly rising but the numbers in vdr are going to other direction lol. Load has gone up (not much but a little) and my hp and trq numbers have been dropping over 7 stages of tweaking? i should mention I was dropping the timing in the knock areas during this. Also gonna post a pic of my plugs kinda seems like they are a little lean but my afrs hover around high 10s low 11s

Here is the best map overall I have gotten so far, most power with only one count of 3 and a couple 2's but it is still weak as I am only putting down approx. 142hp and 163trq to the wheels does this seem normal at 5psi? Zulu sqeezed 180 and 192 out of his at 5psi I mean I know he was pro tuned but am I that far out in left field on this?? Seems like any change I try and make just creates more knock, sometimes I will produce more power but have to reduce timing cause of the knock which brings me right back down, or should I run with this map, up the boost and retune? Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated.

Alright then I might go ahead and bring it to like 7 or 8 and retune and see what happens.

Well I took my map I have up there, dropped the timing 5 degrees from 2000 and 80 up and dropped my fuel table 1 point in that area as well and reinstalled my MBC. Now I guess this isnt too big of deal but just hooking it up jumps me straight to 10 not sure why. Cant really tune too much now really need a set of tires, but a preliminary pull in 3rd graphed in vdr gave me approx. 177whp 198wtrq with only one single knock sum of 1. Again I know vdr isnt exact but it does give me an idea of my progress.

well kinda stuck now. I still have that darn donut spare on my car lol. Might have to wait until after christmas before I can get another set of tires and 3rd gear pulls dont give me much in depth info anymore (rpms fly by too fast lol) and dont feel like doing a 110mph pull on a donut haha.

Unless you're a fan of smokeshows and tire explosions 110mph on a donut is not highly recommended..

At what RPM are you starting your WOT pulls in 3rd gear? Starting at 2500-3000rpm, you should have plenty of valuable data to tune from. 4th gear would be the ideal gearing to use, but not practical given the top speed of the gear unless you're on a dyno.

I start all of my WOT pulls at 2000rpms I get about 20 frames of data to use before redline but it seems like everything is kinda bouncing around a little so I wanted to do some 4th gear pulls for a little more detail.

Yo, so from what I have read in general the more power you make the higher eculoads you will hit. Well I was hitting 96% load values and only putting like 130hp to the wheels, now putting around 180hp at the wheels and the highest load I hit was 91%???? Should I be concerned about this?
