Look into getting t-bolt clamps. Much nicer than those worm drive ones, but have to be careful not to crush your piping since yours is aluminum.

I keep breaking my worm drive ones.

ES doesn't have a stock wing though I think.

The ideal thing is to get a trunk and wing, so it's already mounted....though I know that doesn't help you. just be careful when mounting it, and measure 3 times, drill once I guess. What sort of mounting hardware did it come with?

and yes the es doesnt have a spoiler unless i was an option, i think 03lances has an es with an oz spoiler if im not mistaken

Thanks Link, I'm getting those! Even with my cold air intake, I still had worm gear clamps fall off. I really don't want to have that sinking feeling when all the sudden something pops off, and you think the engine just "ate" itself.

Correct I put the spoiler on. Well I bought the spoiler and when I had my car painted I had them install the spoiler too so I cant much help you with the install other than most come with templates for drilling the holes no?

I just had to take a coupler to my bench grinder and give it a little groove for the clamp to seat into cause the damn thing popped off 3 times in like 5 minutes the other day tuning. I was the IC hose that comes directly off the J pipe. No more popping off now though solid as a rock

I know where it mounts If its a stock evo wing steven , unscrew the rubber trunk bumpers from the inside ,

drill 2 small holes in the center of where the bumpers screw in big enough for your wing bolts thats where the evo is mounted,

once you have those 2 set the wing into those 2 holes and mark the other 2 front ones ...

the other 2 sit on the outside of the trunk lid frame , if you have the trunk open you'll see 2 half circle cutouts in the metal bracing right where your front wing bolts are you'll wanna drill the holes dead center of all those

And you could probably hold the wing up to the trunk with the trunk open and verify from the inside if that would work, right? before drilling holes just to make extra sure.
