Sorry not the best pics there from my phone but you can see how it looks. With the gauge off you can see a little bit of the paint cam off but you cant see it with the gauge on and if I was that worried about it I could pull it off and repaint it in like 5 mins

Well im using a really small bracket that was originally straight i just bent it and used a small screw to put it in. I was worried about that to but I got it to where I can see the yellow towards the right of the gauge. So its good!!! thanks for helping me save 40 bucks lol

Hey I have another question lol, when I get my headstuds this week im probably going to install them as well as the 440cc injectors. But before I do that will I run rich if I use bigger injectors or will the ecu compensate for that?

Do not install bigger injectors if you aren't going to scale them properly right away.

yes you will run insanely rich. its really easy to scale the injectors down in ecu flash

+3 you will run extremely rich you would basically be putting twice as much fuel as you need

I will add it might not be a bad idea to install them before only because you can then work on tuning them without any other modifications to the engine and get a good injector tune. Then your maf scaling should be fairly simple when you go turbo

So no harm, no foul for installing them before turbo...just make sure to tune them correctly? That makes sense, tell the ECU to send normal amounts of fuel for the injector size, but there is no problem using such a large injector at such a low fuel flow volume? (of course there isn't...they do fine when the car is idling, puting out low low amounts of fuel...) Let me know if that sounds correct though.

I guess I will wait to put the injectors in, and since you can drive the car with the injectors only if the turbo is on there then it should be ok to drive around with the base tune until I actually get it pro tuned. it shouldnt take that long hopefully.

OK im having gauge trouble... heres the story, when I turn the headlights on and start the car my egt gauge doesnt stay blue instead it stays white??? Now when I start the car and after the egt gauge sets itself its turns blue when I flip the headlight switch, but my oil pressure and boost gauge stay blue either way... any clues? Or should I make it a habit to start my car and then turn on my headlights? Oh and I forgot to say I have three orange wires connected to the same wire as a ???oxirally??? power for the head lights, because the middle one will only allow the gauges to turn blue when the cluster lights are dim. Is there another wire I should connect the egt gauge to, or like I said just make it a habit?

here let me make it easier, what is the torque amount to install the head studs? and when you get them in do you screw on the head nut the same torque or make sure its nice and tight?
