There are multiple maps out there, 03 lances has sent you 1 or 2 as well I think. What you need to do though, is maybe use one of those as a starting point. Adjust your fuel curves, maps, etc to match those in the example. Make sure you setup your openloop thresholds so you going into open loop above 40% ecuload or whatever and the throttle position for open loop, and then just log all you can while driving slowly...not like wide open throttle. Just have a friend watch the knock and AFR. Anywhere there is an AFR above what you want, just adjust the value a few small increments, relog, readjust until you get that happy medium you want. As far as knock when your AFR is "correct" pull some timing and see if the knock goes away. Anytime you see knock above probably 6 or so....just go ahead and let of the gas, rather than doing damage.

As far as base tune, just use 03's, but smooth it out so that your car responds well to it. Also, you're going to have to fine tune your injector scaling I think, though it may be right on with what senate gave you...just depends.

So, tune it up so you're seeing like 11.5-11.8 AFR (when in boost) and little to no knock (like 2 max is what I'm goin for).

So, can you flash your car now? or are you still having trouble with that?

Between $2000-$4000 depending on what setup you would want and where you source the parts from. You will probably pay top dollar if you buy the parts new from a dealer. You will save a lot of money if you buy good used parts online or through forums. You'd be surprised what you can find on this very forum

Hit up "4g94T" in the lancer for sale section. I believe he has a entire kit for sale that he hasn't posted yet.

I did my whole build for $1200 but I got a really good deal on a turbo and intercooler though. $2000 - $4000 has been the average.

All the information is on the thread man, fro previous work, you gotta do the research so you can do it yourself. Prices are on there as well I think its around $2500 from just guessing

Yes I did, just read from start to finish and you will have a general idea of how to do it. Its very easy

New Chapter 2005 Lancer Evolution 8

Whats up everyone, was looking back at old memories enjoying the good ole days but was trying to find my old pics and vids of my car on FB.

So brining this thread back from the dead with a new journey on my dream car the evo 8

i orginally had a red one in this thread but wanted a silver car. Took it apart and saw it had too much body damage to get everything painted and fixed. So I sold it and bought back the silver one

ill post pics tomorrow and edit this post
