Yup, I had the whole damn thing apart trying to put a 9 pump in....turns out it doesn't fit but the X pump does. Regardless, just be careful not to break the plastic, make sure there is no leaks, and don't lose bolts, and don't blow anything up from those fumes.

I was able to get all the clips fit except 1 or 2. on the plastic cap that comes off take a knife or file and file down the inside of the clip so you dont have to push it down as far to get it on.

its hard to explain without pics. also i was really putting a lot of pressure trying to get that thing on.

there is actually a "zip" after that last .19. there, add zip to the end, or open it with peazip, 7zip, winzip, winrar, etc.

I have the Walbro Steven It is a direct swap you just have to shave the inside of that plastic cap. I have all the clips connected and everything has been working fine with it.

when I tried to install it the bottom kept hitting the one part of the tank... not sure why it wouldnt go in, I shaved the ends of the cap so it would snap on but it was to big. the part number was GSS342 right?

The evo deal fell through, but I haev found a lot of evos for a decent price so im just going to sell the kit and the motor, pay off some debt and get my evo later on. I expect to have an evo less than a couple months. So I will have the kit on the for sale threads in a few days when my injectors and manifold come through the mail

Lol at the deal falling through. I've been waiting here for like a month dieing to see some pics as soon as you got it...and then my spirits were crushed.. whatever though, like you said, just find another...the hunt continues.

Tell me about the motor, and I may be able to run up to dallas area and get it from you. What shape is it in, what sort of current setup, etc. Zulus right? How much cash are we looking at, since I can just come get it....I want that Texan discount, lol!

man it just feels like im never going to get my evo, like my car is destined to be with me or something, I cannot get ahold of the dealer at all regarding on getting a new car. So like I said only time will tell.

Misfire has gotten a whole lot worse cant boost above 8 now... So I ruled out the following

not spark plugs pretty much brand new
Fuel pump - still puts out good afrs even when I got to 17 pounds of boost
Coil packs - im running evo 8 theres no way they should crap out.

so its got to be either
Fuel injectors are going bad
or I need a new fuel filter

I tried running a srt-4, I would have killed him but as mentioned earlier misfire... I was really leaning on towards that 4G64 swap it doesnt look all that difficult but its hard to tell becuase I cant get a loan for a high mileage evo and I cant wait for the dealer any longer... so something has to give

what to do what to do Im a horsepower guy and 17 pounds is getting slow to me

edit** gotta stick to evo plan and be patient

either way the turbo kit is going sometime next week
