Boosting just fine, I don't know what to say to Yall? I guess reset your ecu when the weather changes seasons? I guess my car was tuned for winter not summer

Yeah, like you said, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense....did you see fuel trims before and after? What about like....frak, who knows....

WOT is just smooth as can be, im going to get a log, finish up the final touches on my rom. And then I will have a rom capable for a lancer running 15 pounds easily. leaning out at higher rpm so I need to richen out the table and the car will be making some nice power. I might get it dynoed this monday before I take off the kit. I really wanted to go to the track this thursday to get some times and see where our lancers stand at that high of boost. It will only be the 1/8th mile but it still gives us an idea. But the track thing is going to be up to corndog, he wants a turbo lancer now and he is a very lucky guy and will be making the power im making in less than a week.

alright guys, finally was able to 6+ consecutive pulls and adjusting the fuel. Everything looks really good it goes rich around 10.9-11 and leans itself out to 11.3-11.5 for torque increase, then it gets to the point where I knock at high rpm, so it looks like 17 pounds is the most for our motor other wise you will have to retard timing here is the log.

My fuel from 4k up in the 200-220 load is sitting at 8.9-8.3
thats because im making so much power so quickly the true afrs earlier were around 12-12.3 with 9.5 base afrs in the fuel map

IIf you knock at high rpm at 17psi, but not low, might just be timing is too advanced. Typically you would knock early on, and the same psi at higher rpm is okay. Basically the reason ebc is sometimes considered superior to an mbc.

ok so I did the vd dyno on evoscan, and I see a straight red line going up and a blueline going down?

but then I see 2 dots?
my torque is 294 and my horsepower is 202?

Is that even right? if so thats too much torque on the motor. I thought you have to keep your afrs around 11.5 for hp, and 12.0-12.5 for torque?

** great.... I looked at the merlins tuning for evos, and 11.5 was the best torque for afrs... Well at least we know are cars can handle 300 wtq, debating on going back and tuning for horsepower now. 12.5 is the best for horsepower

PPost a pic of your hp/tq graph, me wants to see. My afrs are tuned for 12 in full boost (5 psi) and I have only 129 hp and 145 torque...but boost wasn't constant due to tuning poorly the afrs and timing....it could be much better.

From your results, what sort of timing did you have at peak hp?

I made 233 wtq and 230 hp like a few months ago, I guess it was running lean before and I still had a little bit of misfire issues.

Well im done tuning the car, im suppose to be taking it apart this week as soon as I get the final touches, and im shipping the kit out this friday. Im calling my dealer tomorrow about the evo he is getting me, and I should have it maybe monday or tuesday no promises but I just hope. I am finally ready to get an evo.

And it all depends on the dyno too, one can say 150, the other might say 160. Also, seeing 300 torque and 200 hp sounds weird....I want to see a jpg of it, to see if the curve looks really funny or something.

...toasted a big turbo diesel getting on the highway this morning, totally legal, no speeding or anything, just fast accel

its hard getting a log becuase my computer keeps crashing into a blue screen, something with evo scan everytime I click start log.

Got the cat I needed from lil' Jeff today to complete my car stock and give corndog his turbo kit.

Evo deal fell through again... no ones fault evo is at an auction and prices go too high. So now I have to wait until 27th or 28th. 2 things

I cannot wait to get my evo and N/A is going to suck for two weeks...
