hahaha no bro thats way to much if thats the case I would just buy an evo, the only motor swap I would go for is the 4G64 with a 4G63 head it would be alot easier than just doing the 4G63 swap

Nice, it's gonna look sick man. I always loved how the evo 8/9 looked. Maybe I'll do this one day as well. Can't wait to see the How-To.

haha youre still going through with this? well whatever floats your boat man. honestly i dont think its going to look very good without the rear end matching. unflared rear quarter panels ftl. plus the tails, if you are going this far id go all the way. but thats just me. now get a 4g63 under the hood and it might be a fun torque steering car

you still laugh bro... thanks I love the support man I thought you would be more on board with this oh wait you have an evo I forgot about the ego lol. Im only keeping the car for another year and Im just going to get the evo I know my car won't meet my future needs for a 500hp daily but if something happens this year where they start making custom motor mounts for our lancers I will just swap it with a 4G64 with a 4G63 head and call it done. Plus im a turbo lancer with a conversion so its not like im ricing out. I'm not sure if I will get the quater panels done just because I don't want to go through all that welding crap and then I need to buy 2 rear doors. I think this will be it for the car, when i get my truck next month becuase I got approved for a loan already im going to swap the motor with the built one I have in the garage. One guy did the same conversion and he sold his car for quite a bit of money I will be looking to sell mine for 6-8k at the most with the turbo. So one more year lance and I will get an evo that will destroy yours.

bro trust me no hate here at all, i know it may come off as ego but its not trust me. ive been in your position and listened to alot of supra guys with "ego's" and ive never regreted that desicion. as i told you before its good you are getting some experience under your belt, itll help later down the road. the only thing i dont understand is you turbo'ed your lancer, now your putting all this evo stuff on it and now you've been approved for a loan but dont want to get an evo, but rather buy your car from the ins and convert it???? it just doesnt seem right. srry. as i said though, if its what you wanna do by all means, go for it. just go in knowing now, you are literally throwing away money. you'll be hard-pressed to get 8k out of that car, josh has a clean title, 9.82 1/4mile, 575whp fully built evo and is only asking 24k and he is having trouble selling it. if i had the cash id have two evos right now. he probably has 24k easy into the car itself. so its a prime example of putting money into a car and never getting it back.

and the power in my sig is only my current set-up, plenty more left in here and you will need alot for what i have in store. (now thats ego)

I smell egos rising.. ill gladly step in and stick my butty where it belongs.. im not running 35psi on e85. but i think 25 is enough for most, ill even dial it back if i have to.. Lancers dont trq steer like hondas do. especially not with 26'' radials or slicks.

Most lancers on these forums are legit street setups on low boost on stock motors and transmissions and still get 30+mpg and less then 3k into there cars, u really shouldnt talk crap, exspecially with gas prices the way they are now. plenty of PR owners with full blown drag cars outa our shells also.. i know im not the only one.

i shouldnt talk? i know him personally dude. ive sold him stuff that went into his build as a matter of fact. im simply giving my adivce. on 93 oct i get great gas milage, the turbo lag greatly helps with that, on e85 its not bad either. i dd mine to 2 different jobs with the a/c on a twin disc and 654whp on what ALOT of evo's consider "low boost" and i have a stock head stock intake manifold stock trans stock t-case stock throttle body stock driveshaft stock axels, need me to keep going? all on a budget built car. i have an ebay fmic for crying out loud lol.

Anyways... Nice Steven its looking good bro I have pretty much decided to leave my car at 12psi. I have enough traction issues as it is and I know that to efficiently use any more power would require the $1000 LSD which I dont plan on getting. I am happy where I am at smoking all my 240 buddies lol Well except the one with the RB25...

most of this was at the 'track' or circle station (private closed roads setup by the city.)
brand new srt8 300c with 150shot 20 - 115, 6 maybe 7 cars by 70mph.. lol
vortech s2k 8psi dig - top 3rd.. 3 or 4 cars by 60mph, he got a big jump on me
13:1 full built eg hatch with drs from a dig. paced him to **** him off.
oh. 2010 gsx-r 600.. 10-115.. lost by about a fender.
