Actually steven. this is where i have run into issues, and roadspike is attempting to fix the problem we ran into with my car on the auto rom. im running low imp injectors and we believe i am capped at 60% duty cycle because of this. Manual trans guys using a complete evorom shouldnt have this issue(but i wouldnt know)

so i dont recommend using low imp injectors unless its required. and with anything under 1000cc u should stick to high imp.

But to do low impendance this is what u will need :

I used (4) 20watt 8 ohm resisiters (from radioshack) inline with the injector positive side. im useing percision 1200s, so I did use Percision injector clips also since they dont have the same clip as our stock ones and just added the resister inline with the positive wire. Put me around 1.15 ohms if i remember correctly instead of 13 something.
i figured up the math behind it before i went and bought the resisitors. but it should be about the same for every lancer

Actually, now that i think about it, i probably should recheck them. to see if anything has changed.

Can't you just snag the resistor box from an evo parts sale?

Demon I am super confused here are you saying you wired the resistors in parallel?

I'm still working with a bunch of fires so to speak at work or i'd be working on your problems haha!

Been a little while since I looked but I'm pretty sure that evo resistors are 6ohms.

no i ran the resistors inline with each individual injector.. the injectors themself are not parrallel so there is a resister on each line. i only put mine right on the injector clip cuz i wasnt worried about inclosing the resisters in a water tight area. i checked the ohms to each injector to make sure they were within percisions specifications. no other way to do it. i could have put them closer to the ecu and incased them, but that would of been alot of messy wires to play with..

u could get a resistor box, but if u just buy 1 dollar in resistors from radioshack and spend an hour of ur time with a sodering iron, and some heat shrink, ur done. check the resistance before and after, and as long as there within range ur good.

I know, I really don't want to let it go, but its not going to achieve my goal of 500 hp daily, and an evo would be really nice. I got a dealer that has a silver evo 8 with 79k miles but he wants 15,900 for it.

He will have the car tuesday, so I will probably go take a look at it

I had a guy today look at the car and he wanted 4300 for my car with everything, I really want 5k for my car at least.

4300 is a very nice offer. If he has cash is take it. Is get the silver one gonzalo has. Evo viii's are going for 20k plus on eBay right now. Think hard about it. It'd make it much easier

thats probably what im going to do and suck up the payments, that way I can just get the car, I need to see if he will take a trade I had alot of calls but people as usual lowballing, I was probably going to put it stock and just sell the turbo parts, and try to sell the car for 3500-4000k

Yeah, if I was in your shoes I'd say sell it if my goal is 500hp. Maybe sell the turbo kit or part it out to get more cash and sell it as stock.

GGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKK KKKKKKKKKK

man ive been trying to sell my car since last august and i still cant sell it. no-one wants to buy these cars (specially a stick, and by having a stick car you already basically eliminate half of the potential buyers).......and ive had a number of people want me to be able to "make payments" on it (i am not a bank so um NO) or the other one is that yes they can get a loan but they dont get enuf to buy the car...

plus now as well you have the evo 8 on the front so now people are also going to look away from it since it isnt stock....sell the turbo separate yes, you can prolly get at least a good 2k out of that. im asking 4k for mine and best offer ive had was 3k. but at the time i will dirve it for the 1k difference....

personally id just trade it in for the evo and be done with it.....if i was looking into a newer car right now id really saw tahell with it and be done.....it is not worth my time anymore....
