ok and I can log it when ever im driving correct? Just by connecting my computer to my car? And when im logging this stuff what do I need to look for that could possibly be dangerous to the car or in other words andything bad that can happen? I know how to use my gauges as a reference as well with the a/f ratio, oil pressure, and egt guages.

Im probably going to need alot of help on the tuning portion of it until I can get my feet wet and get used to the basics of tuning

ok I can do all those, my wideband does have a logger wire but how do I connect to the wideband to log that stuff? I have the aem wideband uego

 

The aem is complicated from what i've heard you'll just have to search for it though in ecuflash because i don't know how to get one setup up personally as i own a zeitronix unit very different

 

oh man, I guess I will call AEM and ask them how to do this, does anyone have a tactrix cable there selling or if they have one i can use if there car is not being used as frequently? Im planning on installing this kit within the next week and a half, I will send money so you have something to hold on to if thats cool with anyone here. And if not can anyone keep an eye out for one on sale so when I get paid this week I can buy it

 

hey everyone quick question so I can do some homework this week and a half before I go turbo, In the tuning/management thread what threads do yall suggest I read to get the best of tuning with a stock ecu?

 

Its really not that hard but it is hard to explain, there is a thread in the evo tuning section that explains it perfectly just type in aem uego logging in the search bar and it should pop up

 

There is one major guide for this I think I'd recommend. But prepare yourself its a very long read.

Its meant for evo's but pretty much all the tuning stuff will apply to any car.

haha I dont mind reading I spent a year reading different forums while collecting my parts I probably 03lances thread at least 5-6 times in that year. lol This should be interesting. Im going to read it tomorrow and when im done then I will ask questions

 

Hey guys I need one more part this week and I need some suggestions!!!

I have a prosport egt gauge that needs to be mounted on the steering column, I want to buy the evo 8 steering gauge column holder but its running like around $40.00 is there a cheaper option to mount the gauge on the steering column without it blocking my cluster or should I just buy the column anyways? Im pretty srue I can find one on here anyways but if theres a cheaper way please tell me where I should mount it at

 

Put the egt gauge in your pillar pod then put your wideband on your steering column I just took a flat piece of metal, bend it 90 degrees and paint it black mine looks pretty good and a piece of metal from home depot was like $7? I think and only needed like 1/10th of it. I used another chunck. Of that same piece to make the brace for the manifold . I will take a pic after work and show you what I mean.

 

I guess I can do that the wide band is by itself anyways ok looks like im back to work on the car tuesday!!! yeah show me those pics so I can get an idea about what you mean

 

or you can just buy an autometer gauge cup from pepboys... theyre like 20 bucks and way cleaner.

does the cup have like a mount on it or is it just a cup?
