I dont think its an aftermarket wing, it kinda looks exactly like the evo 8 but all the evos I see dont have the carbon part unless its not common in my area, but heres the link I bought it from with pics

Tell me what you think? What I will do Turbolancer is look under my trunk today and get an idea of what you just explained to me

hey arp question... do I need a long tube socket to screw in the nut to the bolt or will a regular size socket work?

A standard might work but it would be close, I used a deep well socket

I used a shallow 12-point 1/2" socket with a 4" extension. But both a long and shallow socket will work.

ok well i bought a long one just in case, now since im doing the 1 by 1 method how long will it take since im not removing the head? I have to be at work in 6 hours so im wondering if I should wait till monday or do it right now if it wont take that long. Senate said it should take 6-8 hours but I figured he probably removed the head etc...

and if I remove the valve cover do I need a new gasket or will i be able to use the same one?

Its always good practice to replace the gasket but its not an absolute neccesity, doing the one by one should not take very long at all maybe a half hour to an hour? All you will have to do is pull the coil packs then the valve cover then start removing head bolts.

well im freaking pissed,I cant find sockets for the stock studs I have and none will fit... does anyone know what size they are? Im using 1/2 inch 12 point socket for the arp, but its to big for the stock, so looks like im doing this monday morning when I pick up more sockets from my job which is 20 mins away

I'm drawing a blank at the moment. The stock head bolts are either 10mm or 12mm 6-pt.

Only one really I guess is pull everything you need off before starting to put anything on. Bumper, crash beam (if your using stock evo fmic) headlights, radiator, exhaust mani, etc.

Triple check everything
Label anything you think you might forget about with bright blue tape, so you see it.
Double check everything for leaks
Don't go WOT once it's all installed even though I'll bet you want to (lol), not till it's tuned up nice. Better the tune, safer it is.
Have a spare car, cause it's going take longer everyone says.
Put the radiator in a SAFE place, cause it's easy to damage
zip tie the vacuum lines I think
video some of it....I sooo want to see things in pieces. don't get grease on the camera though.
