How about ~20 psi before even moving? I don't think I'll ever use it anytime soon because I'm sure it will spin all 4 wheels like a ****. Heck it spun with the regular 2 step on my IX.

(P.S. its actually a LOT louder than what the camera picked up)

Im using the tephra rom right now which is based off the evo 8 rom, eventually I will get an evo in the next year or two once 300 hp gets boring. My goal is to make a 500 hp daily driver but like I said before we will see.

Pistons don't worry about them they look clean as is. As for scraping the gasket off the head and block my personal preference is a straight razor blade by HAND and do it gently you don't want to gouge it!

I watched some videos on pros doing it at machine shops, and they are all "don't use a razer blade or anything by hand, blah blah, you'll get low spots" and I don't know if they are just elitists, or what. I've put on a headgasket now on a truck, and didn't resurface anything, and it's been totally fine....so who knows. Still, sweet dyno results, sweet engine, and very sweet sense of pride in knowing you're 1 of only a handful of guys with a slick lancer.

Mine is getting faster all the time...love it.

Man I need to get my Lancer dyno'd this spring. First I need some new injectors. My 440's are maxed out at 12psi. Nice numbers!!

low spots? I guess if it wasn't machined flat sure but its quite a bit harder to cut through the metal than it appears. There are probably safer ways of taking gasket off I've seen some pretty cool plastic razors combined with gasket remover do a fantastic job.

so, I know I just bought this motor but after talking with zulu a few hours ago, im thinking about selling it.... I know I know you just bought this motor and wasted ur money. But im not sure if im ready to tackle the engine swap yet, this is still my only car and if I screw something up then yeah Im F*****

So this is what im offering, if your interested in the motor I will let it go for the amount I paid for which is $1300.00 but that will include shipping so technically your getting the motor for $1150.00. I will do payment options just like I did with zulu and if you live in the state of texas I will meet you halfway to deliver the motor. If no one claims the motor by this july when the heat gets turned up then I will suck it up and install the motor. But either way I will be happy....

So if you want it pm me and I will let you make payments all the way up to July, thats like making a $130.00 payment every 2 weeks
